His fin flicked when he felt Dave lean against him, the tines nearly getting him on the nose. He concentrated to keep them close, letting Dave look as he wished and to get a photo. "It's a nice skeleton though, you can see where something's bitten into the bone." He leaned closer, running his finger along some indents along the edge of the bone.

He turned his head to the side to see what had moved the water, thinking it was a fish, bit laughing when he figured it was his fin.

Glancing over at the skeleton, he nodded, pointing at another spot that looked like was bitten, or scratched.

Eridan merely huffed at him, turning his head to puff bubbles at his face. "Shut up."

He didn't pick up the bone, just came closer and ran his finger over the scratch marks. "I think these were done after the bones had appeared, like in the last few years or so. If it had been through the skin an' muscle they would be smoother, less coarse on the end. Something angry did this." He was quiet for a bit, watching. "I would like to meet it. Wanna see what it looks like."

He smiled wide, not being able to grin, and huffed bubbles at him through his nose, though he was more focused on the bones than on banter. This was kinda what he'd end up doing after all.

He nods, wondering if it was still around, and looking around him.

He backed away from the bones a bit, still within view if Dave wanted to look, but Eridan was more focused on looking around them. "I don't think whatever it was is here anymore. There's nothing else out in the water, an' if there is it's lying really really still. I can't feel any sort of vibrations under here except the ones from us." His fins were flared wide to catch any sort of vibrations in the water.

He nodded, the thought that Eridan read minds further settling in his mind. He'd be impressed if he commented on that, honestly.

Having nothing else to see, he tries to swim away further, wanting to explore the rest of it.

He squinted at Dave a bit, before pulling him along to continue swimming around the bottom. "You're pondering my mind reading abilities again aren't you. You look like you just swallowed a lemon an' got forehead wrinkles of concentrative thought. It's amusing." Most of the time he was just guessing at what Dave was thinking about, relating it to what they were looking at or around.

Eridan laughed, squeezing his hand a bit. "I am the all-seeing eye! I can read your mind! Fear me!" He wriggled a bit as he swam, laughing as he shook his head.

He tried thinking about "you're a fucking dork thats what you are." Honestly not knowing if this was all just wishful thinking. Ahah how silly, of course not! Eridan is clearly a mind reader.

He poked his cheek anyway as he shook his head.

"I am not." He blew bubbles at Dave again, swatting at him with his free hand. "I'm not sure what sort of insultive adjective you're currently thinking about me but I can assure you I most certainly am not one. Unless it's dork. I am small bit dork, but not as much as you seem to deem me as."

His look went from disapproving to downright shocked. He flicked his nose to get him back for the swat, deciding to retire whatever thoughts he'd have in the future.

Eridan look surprised, his grin going wide as Dave flicked him. "Was I right? Was I? Oh this is /gold/." He laughed again, doing a little tumbleroll underwater and readjusting his grip on Dave's hand. "I was just guessing! Oh this is hilarious!"

He didn't stop grinning, immensely pleased with himself as they swam along. His fins were wiggling and his glow seemed to brighten a bit in response to his happiness.

He rolled his eyes, wanting to groan, but not making more than a low sound due to the mouthpiece. He poked his ribs, in hopes of getting him to stop. Maybe he was ticklish

He was ticklish, immensely so. Just above his gills. Where Dave just poked. He squawked, a cloud of bubbles escaping him as he near enough jerked away from Dave's fingers. "Oi!"

Dave was a bit surprised, but started laughing hard a bit later, letting go of him to tickle his sides, having to wrap an arm around his back to reach the other side.

"Dave!" Eridan squirmed, pushing at his hands now and kicking his legs. He started laughing, spluttering out bubbles as he was tickled. "Stop!" He was laughing harder now, wiggling as he tried to get away from him.

He snickered like a devious child, having to wrap his legs around his waist so that he wasnt kicked off, but he managed to keep going, pretty happy with himself.

"You're a bastard!" He was trying to get his legs and hands off of him ow, squirming hard. Eridan twisted, pushing Dave down on to the pebbles below them, hopefully not on any bones. He got a hold of his hands, pushing them down to his sides and staring down at him. "You ass."

Once he was pushed off, he didnt resist, smiling like a little shit.

"Love you too Eridan." He thought to himself, trying to voice it, but it came out muffled.

"I'm gonna make you sleep in the dinghy." He huffed at him, bubbling escaping him. He didn't quite get what Dave said, head tilted slightly as he furrowed his brow a bit. "Fuck me too? What even Dave." He laughed and pulled away a bit, letting him back up so they were sitting.

He ended up laughing at his words, just nodding, not bothering to correct him.

Once they were sitting, he looks him over a little, his eyes resting in his flowing lock of violet hair for a while. It looked good, specially so when he was glowing.

He spelled the word "love" with his hands, pointing at Eridan, and then holding up two fingers, now trying to make him understand.

His brow furrowed further, shifting a bit so he was facing Dave properly as he read his hands. "Love... me too? What?" He just looked at him in confusion. "What?" He glowed more violet across his cheeks and fins, the violet light moving as they wiggled.
