He nodded and settled back down. The dolphins had settled down with their playing, merely chasing each other around underwater and occasionally making little leaps above the water. The sun had risen completely above the horizon by now, and he hoped Dave got some good pictures of it.

By then, Dave had about five or six pictures, only one of them being of the dolphins alone, though others did include them. "Alright, and to close the morning photo shoot, I'm gonna need my maybe-fan slash model here."

As he said that, he wrapped an arm around his shoulders, turning the camera towards them, and smirking softly as he took a picture. He soon regretted it though.

"Oh fuck me." He blinked. "I left the fucking flash on, jesus."

Eridan wasn't even really paying much attention to what he was saying, too focused on watching the dolphins.

"Wait what?" He turned and focused on the camera just as the flash went off. With a yelp he covered his eyes, rubbing furiously. "What the shit Dave! Ow..." He blinked, squinting at him. "Oowww can't see what the shit Dave."

"Well sometimes shit goes wrong. When you're with me, 'sometimes' turns into 'pretty fucking often'." He rubbed his eyes as well, making a face. What a nice way to finish watching the sun rise.

He rubbed at his eyes again, squinting and blinking repeatedly. "Ugh, why the hell was flash invented. Honestly." He turned to look at Dave, nudging him with his shoulder. "Asshole. I'm gonna drop you in the water later for this."

"More of a captain then you'll ever be." He just shrugged and climbed down into the cabin, covering a yawn. "An' no thanks. I'm planning on having proper food for breakfast." And by that he meant he'll probably just have one of the letftover buns with nutella or whatever spread he'd brought with him.

"Can't argue with that." He shrugs. "And suit yourself, but breakfast pizza is the only type of pizza that matters. Well not the only one, maybe that's too much of a stretch, but my point got across."

He put the camera and blanket down, going to get a tupperware with slices of pizza, and took a large bite of the first one he grabbed.

Eridan ended up just forgoing the spread and eating the bun plain. Food was food, he didn't particularly care this early in the morning what it tasted like. "Think you've got sufficient photos of the sunrise Dave? Glad you got woken up for it?" He grinned at him from where he was leaning against the sink, tearing apart the bun with his fingers before eating it. "Are you gonna be wearing the scuba stuff when we go to this cave?"

"Definitely do, looks nice. I like the ones I have from the roof of my apartment too. Sun rises and sets in generally usually make for great views. And I'm happy that I didn't get thrown off board for not getting up." He stuck out his tongue.

"Nah, it isnt that cold here today., just taking the goggles and the mouth piece. Unless the water there is particularly cold."

"I always liked them. Could never take a decent enough photo of it though." He pulled a slight face and turned back to the bun. "You'll have to show me the photos sometime, like when we're back on land again." He flicked the bread bag tie at Dave, sticking out his own tongue at him. "Shut up Dave."

"I think it'll be pretty close to what we were in yesterday? With that weird multi-legged thing? I'm not too sure though. It's your choice."

Dave nudges the camera towards him. "You can check them out now. One rule though, no deleting anything without my consent." Sure he had that picture of him looking at the stars there that he probably didnt know he took, but he didnt see a problem with it.

"Well, then I'm probably taking everything. And something heavy to keep me down."

He took the offered camera, turning the screen towards himself and moving to sit on the couch. He started flicking through the photos, scoffing at the last photo Dave took. "We both look utterly ridicules here." He moved on through, getting to the photos from the night previously. "How many photos did you take of me?" He skimmed through those ones quickly, not very interested in how he looked lit up like a fool.

The photo of the him looking up at the stars made him stop, squinting a bit as he looked at it closely. "I didn't know you took this." He looked up at Dave with a raised eyebrow.

When he asked about the picture, he shrugged. "I was trying to throw you off with the flash, but you were too out of it. If i didnt know better id say you were baked." He teases, smirking

He just raised an eyebrow at him. Eridan looked back at the picture, head tilted slightly as he studied it closely. Dave really did have good photography skills.

He looked through the photos of the stars, looking them over almost intensely as he did so.

"Funny. You can't even really see my face in that photo, so you can't say I looked baked." He put the camera carefully down on the table, leaning back a bit.

"Only the best looking maps get hung on my walls. The rest are kept in the cupboard, rolled up or flat packed depending on how I got them." He stuck his tongue out.

A glance out the little bay window and he stood up again. "Right. We better head off. I'm not sure how long it'll take us to get back through the underwater caverns, especially if we want to explore a bit."

He took the camera with him too, so that he wouldnt forget it, and came back a while later with his backpack.
