"Your sarcasm knows no bounds." He shot back, throwing a pebble at him. It didn't go very far, it being underwater and all, but it went far enough to hit Dave in the chest. He rolled his eyes, shaking his head. "Fruitcake."

Eridan rolled his eyes and blew bubbles at him again, trying to tone down the glowing across his cheeks. "This way. C'mon." He stood up, grabbing Dave's wrist again and pulling him with him. He swam again, not really wanting to get any more bones in his foot. The exit was a larger gap along the middle of the wall of the pool.

They quickly swam out, Dave only poking his cheek teasingly one more time along the way, and when they surfaced, he took off the mouthpiece, laughing a little.

He rolled his eyes and snapped his teeth playfully at his fingers. "You're a shit Dave." He splashed him with water, even though he was laughing just as much. This was a significantly smaller cavern, and they could stand the whole way through. It was the shorter way out he realised, and just shrugged.

"I have no control over that, it was unwanted." He huffed and rolled his eyes again. "I didn't even know I could do that." He scowled a bit and poked his own cheek, as if doing that would some how give him answers.

"Not that. The glowing when blushing bit." He rubbed at his own cheeks, sighing in exasperation as he let go of Dave's wrist and headed to the gap in front of them. "Just shut up Dave. It's a useless unwanted ability. This quest was stupid an' the prize you deem me with is ridiculously lacking in coolness." He tried to turn the thing into a joke, feeling a bit embarrassed at having reacted like that.

"It is not." He rolled his eyes and made the glow disappear all together. These caves were light enough that they could see a ways in front of them anyway, being much closer to the water and the outside. "It's dumb."

"Good job Dave, that is light. Would you like a gold star?" He grinned and reached to grab onto a rocky ledge, hauling himself up and turning to get the camera from Dave. "Yeah we are close to getting out. The next cavern's probably the one that leads out, so it's going to be another quick swim before we're out of the caves."

He rose a brow, tempted to reach for the camera, but he didn't. "What are you doing?"

"Getting out. What are you doing?" He raised an eyebrow and reached down a hand to haul him up as well. "That way-" he nodded to the slanted gap in the cave wall. "- leads to a dead end. No point going that way huh? Plus up here's got a nice view of the cavern, prime picture taking spot."

"Oh, good for pictures, alright." He muttered, taking his hand so that he could get up as well with a little help. He was more worried about his camera than the way that they were going, even though he trusted Eridan with either of them more than a lot of people would advise him to.

Eridan hauled him up, gripping his elbow and letting go once he was up. He handed him his camera, sitting down on the ledge and leaning back on his hands. He watched the water in the cave, watching a drop fall into the water, following the ripples with his eyes.

Dave muttered a small thanks when he got the cam back, sitting next to him, as he dangled his legs a little. Smiling slightly, he squinted some, not being used to not wearing shades when the sun was out, but took a picture of the scene either way.
