Sollux sat up and leant against Eridan as the seatroll leant back against Dave. There was pretty much smiles all around, and Eridan pressed a kiss to both of their cheeks.

Dave sat like that for what seemed to be the longest time, just nuzzling Eridan's shoulder and covering his visible skin with small pecks. He wondered if he was still jealous.

Eridan ended up hugging Sollux to his chest while leaning back against Dave. He was utterly content, and didn't feel very jealous anymore.

Slowly but surely, their relationship grew to be stable. Well, stable-ish. They were still a mess, quadrant wise, and he was still insisting that they didn't need to label their relationship with any quadrant, but hey, he was slowly coming to accept it. Very slowly. What a better way to end his summer?
A couple of months later, on his last day of vacations, he leans back against his computer chair, thinking back on his last year, how it changed his life. Heck, and he owned it all to his great coffee. The trip, the photos, the memories... especially the memories. He still kept them close to his heart, as cheesy as it sounds. He waits for a moment, tapping his fingers on the arm of the chair before glancing at his desk. He pulls out the pictures from one of the drawers, and starts looking through them, a smile settling on his face. He needs to dig through another couple sets of photos to find decent photographs of Sollux, but he eventually does, and puts together a small collection of pictures of the two trolls.
He appreciates every single one of them. The one he got of Eridan glowing in the ocean; pictures of their tattoos, including the one Eridan gave Sollux, which ended up being a fucking swarm of bees, because he liked the idea of 'beenary code'; pictures of them together on the beach, just relaxing. He then takes a small picture of his collection, sending it to them both. 'Guess what I found'.
