If he stretched, he could reach the water with his toes. He waited for Dave to do his thing, zoning out about in his thoughts as he watched the water. There was a bit of a breeze coming apparently from the ceiling, but he couldn't see any obvious areas from where it was coming from.

He was done pretty quickly, just watching it afterwards. "This is nice. Hope nobody decides to make the island habitable or some shit like that." He wrinkled his nose as he thought about this place being full of litter

"Yeah. It would ruin this area. I'd probably get in heaps a shit for getting up at any one who'd litter." He shrugged and glanced up at Dave. "I don't get why people litter. If one can bend down to pick up a dollar then they can pick up a fucking piece of rubbish."

"Probably because they're more greedy than they're lazy." He shrugs. "I remember that in my first years of school a lot of brats would leave chocolate wrappers on the floor and shit after the break, so maybe it's genetic. I also remember refusing picking that shit up for them 100 times a day, so." He shrugs

Eridan scowled and flicked a pebble at the water. "I was given a stern talking to after I got up a bunch of people in the park for leaving literally all there plastic and trash where they'd been sitting when the bin was right there." He shrugged and pushed to stand up properly, wiping the stone shards off of his butt.

He shook his head a little. "Why am I not surprised." He didn't say it in a bad way though. He got up as well. "Well, guess its up to us not to tell a single soul ever that this place exists."

"Or threaten someone within an inch of their life if they trash this place." He grinned slightly, glancing at Dave. He turned to the exit, glancing out into the next pool. He knew that was the one that lead to the sea outside, they'd just have to swim down through that gap and then up into the fresh air. He turned to Dave. "Way out's through there. It'll take us about... Ten or so minutes? With swimming an' if you want to take any more underwater photos?"

He snorts a bit with laughter, nodding. "Guess so, that usually always works. Specially when a person has those," He points at his teeth. "and the other has a sword."

"Sure, I think I'll just record now though, if you don't mind." He smiled. "Whenever you're ready."

He was so eager to get out of that fucking suit, it was itchy.

Eridan laughed and nodded, grinning wide as if to back up his point.

"I don't mind. It's much lighter through here as well." He double checked the ropes, studying his own for a second before redoing the knot. "C'mon." He lead through the gap, sliding into the water on the other side and turning to face Dave.

He put the mouth piece back on, walking through the gap as well, and stepping in the water, next to him. As soon as he did, he turned the camera on, not expecting to see much here, but it would still do for a nice little memory. The flash was off this time though.

Eridan smiled at him briefly, turning to sink deeper into the water before pulling himself through the gap. He glanced back occasionally at Dave to make sure he was getting through okay. It took as long as he thought to get through that passage, and he may have started swimming faster once he could taste the fresh sea water rushing in through the gap there.

He got Eridan's face on camera accidentally the few times he looked behind, but he seemed to be doing pretty okay. He felt the tug on the rope as Eridan started to swim faster, and tried to follow as fast, managing, as they weren't really going at a proper speed before.

Eridan kicked out into open ocean, managing to stop himself before the rope went taunt as he waited for Dave to swim through. They could see the reef from where they were, more of a rocky mass a bit awy from them as opposed to the detail coral they had been looking at the day before. He looked back at Dave, fins wiggling a bit at the current he was floating in.

Dave laughed a little and zoomed in on his face when he saw his fins wiggling, but finally emerged from the water, shaking his head vigorously, making his hair splash water everywhere. He ended the footage with an image of the place where they came out of, and then let himself fall into the water, pretty happy.

Eridan stuck his tongue out at him, rolling his eyes even as his fins wiggled happily. "There you go Dave, cave experience." He grinned and swam closer to untie the rope first from around Dave's waist and then his own, looping it and hanging it back around his waist. He kicked hard to raise himself up a bit off the waterline, squinting and scaning the beach. "We might have to walk a bit to get back to the dinghy, but not far."

He floated closer to Eridan, bumping against his chest like he did the other time. "Im tireeddd, cant you like, pull me?" He pouted a little to see if he could actually pull that off. If yes, awesome, if not, fuck.

"It's like a three minute swim." He rolled his eyes, getting a hand on Dave's head to dunk him temporarily underwater. "An' why didn't you ask when we were still y'know, tied together?" He didn't have any problem dragging Dave along, if he really had to.

He laughed a little as his head was dunked, but struggled to get back up, quickly managing to. "Bro that's like, far. Plus you untied us before you said that. But I have strong arms, we don't need no rope"

"Well if you'd said something as I was untying you then maybe I wouldn't've." He pulled a face, splashing water at Dave and rolling his eyes again. "How do you expect me to drag your ass back to shore. You're holding a camera remember, an' if you plan on hanging onto me with one arm as I swim back I dunno how you'll manage." He was grinning, snickering at Dave as he made to dunk him under the water again.

He grabbed Eridan's arm as he was dunked, so that he could slip around it and come back up, getting up on his feet. "Yo that's cheap." Completely ignoring what he said, he grinned and tugged him forwards by his arm so that he'd bend over, ans used that advantage to push him underwater

Eridan just laughed at him, which ended up becoming more bubbles than sound as Dave pushed him underwater. "That was cheap." He pushed at his chest, grabbing him by the shoulders and pushing down under his chin was touching the water and Eridan was kicking to keep them level. "So? How do you expect me to lug your ass, along with a camera, back the three minute swim? Or do you just want me to tie us both up again and then drag you?"

He let himself be pushed down, not resisting at all, but was a bit surprised when he didn't end up underwater. "Tying the rope back around us is a good option. Shouldn't be a problem for you, Mr. Knot-Master." He was even more surprised that Eridan was considering. Would it have been his usual friends, they'd tell him to get over himself and swim there, which he wouldn't have really complained about, but this was new.

Eridan rolled his eyes and let go of him, slipping under the water himself for a bit before resurfacing. "You're a lazy bastard Dave." He splashed him, reaching to untie the rope from around his waist again. He could tell he was surprised, but he wasn't exactly sure as to why. He knew humans tired easily in water, and he didn't see a problem with dragging him behind as he swam back.

"I like to think of myself as a really good fucking car you know. It's really good, but it also spends gas like a bitch. The gas is all gone." Dave smiled softly, laughing to himself as the rope was tied around his waist, and tried to keep himself steady.

He'd tied the rope first around Dave's waist and the up around his chest, securing it so that when he swam, Dave wouldn't be tugged along awkwardly or uncomfortably. He did the same when tying the rope around himself, adjusting it so that it wasn't agains his gills. "You're basically just a pricy car that runs barely a few miles before demanding gas. How shit." He teased, glancing over his shoulder before starting to swim back to the beach.
