He smiles slightly, nodding in acknowledgement. "Thanks, for both things. I think I'll be using it, it's cold out here." With that he got up, not wanting to wake up too much, just wanting to get back to sleep, really. "Wake me up a little before the sun rises?" He had a phone of his own, meaning he could set an alarm, but he was checking if he could get away with not waking up with an annoying beeping.

"I'll wake you up before it rises Dave, don't worry. Go to sleep." He gave him a gentle shove in the direction of the front cabin. "See you in the morning." He gave a small smile and a little wave before heading to the back cabin to curl up in the heap of blankets he'd stowed there. Really, it was more a nest of blankets than an actual organised bed.

Either way it was extremely comfy and warm.

He laughed a little as he was shoved, but nodded yet again. "Alright, night-night big-bad-seadweller." He waved, still looking fairly relaxed, and went to curl up with the blankets, plus the pillow now. He used the pillow as something to cling to at night, so he liked them big, so that he could do whatever with it. However, this one was small, but it would do. It just meant he had to curl up and make himself extra small, so he did, falling back asleep nearly instantly in his blanket burrito.

Eridan always took a bit of time to fall asleep. Usually back in his own apartment it sometimes took an hour, maybe longer until he was asleep.

Out here he was out in under twenty minutes. The sound of the waves and the warmth coming from his nest of blankets had him drowsy and then asleep in no time flat. A rolled up blanket substituted as his pillow, and he had the edge of one blanket clutched in one hand, an old habit he'd never managed to shake off.

With such comfort like this he might even sleep longer than two hours.

He stayed asleep for as long as he managed, which was, until Eridan woke him up. Through out the night, he had managed to somehow fully curl around the pillow, one leg draped over it, and his head resting on top of the edge of it. The blanket burrito remained as snug as when it was made though. It looked like he was clinging to someone in his sleep.

Eridan had woken up a few hours before the sun was said to rise. For a while, he simply laid in his warmth cocoon, nice and snug and comfortable. He even dozed for a bit, face tucked into the warmth of the cocoon. He eventually got up, hissing a bit in complaint as his feet his the cold wood floor of his cabin. He hopped on the spot for a bit, shivering as he dug around for the jumper he wore the previous night to put on.

About ten minutes before the sun was going to rise was when he woke Dave up. The sky was only just light, barely anything really, as he leaned over the blanket burrito and shook what he hoped was a shoulder. "Dave. Da-ave."

Blanket burrito Dave was frankly quite adorable in Eridan's opinion.

A little whine is heard from inside the blanket burrito, and he doesn't open his eyes, but he is definitely starting to wake up. As he had stated before, he isn't hard to wake up, but he never said anything about being kept awake.

Regardless, he popped his head out of the blanket, his hair fairly messy, but that's mostly because he's laying down. When he gets up his hair will fall back in place.

Eridan had to bite his lip to keep from doing something embarrassing, like coo at the adorableness or something like that.

"Dave c'mon now. Sun's gonna come up. You can stay a burrito but you've got to get up the stairs an' all." He got an arm under burrito Dave's suspected shoulders, getting him up into a seated position. "C'mon. There might even be dolphins." He heard a distance huff over the sound of the water lapping at the sides of the boat and amended his statement. "No there will definitely be dolphins. C'mon Dave, prime picture taking time is now."

He whines a bit more when he is forced to sit, the pillow that he was hugging coming along, but once he is sitting, he opens his eyes a little. He has his doubts about this, is it really worth it? Waking up and all? It can't be that great, he is sure he can take a few more hours in bed.

However at the promise of pictures and dolphins he seems to fully wake up, already getting on his feet, the blanket wrapped around him, sorta like a cape. "Where did I leave my camera?" He asks in a sleepy voice, already looking around for it.

"It's still on the table out here. I'll bring it up for you so you don't fall on the stairs or something, come on." He nudged Dave along, a hand on his back to steady him as he stepped through the doorway and out.

"You can hear the dolphins now. I think there's a small pod of them fishing near us." He picked up Dave's camera carefully, holding it as he climbed up the stairs to the cockpit and waited for Dave to join him before he gave it back.

Dave slowly got a hang of the walking thing as Eridan moved him around, Dave having curled up against him a little, holding the blanket around him now that the pillow was gone, but nodded.

He grabbed a bottle of AJ for himself, and went up the stairs, thankful for the fact that there weren't many waves, or strong ones for the matter. He cleared his throat before speaking now, running his fingers through his hair to kinda fix it, which kind of worked,, before getting the camera back. "Thanks"

Eridan was determined to not mention the absolute adorable actions that Dave was doing right now, mainly for the fact that the only thing cuter he'd ever seem in his life was a tiny seahorse bumping against the glass.

Plus he had to maintain some reputation of being a stuck frigid bitch.

He got Dave out of the cockpit and out to the front of the boat, settled down there as the looked out over the water. Eridan squinted, then pointed out into the distance. "There. There's the dolphins. Can you see them?" He shifted closer to Dave to point out where they were.

Sitting his ass down once they got to the front of the boat, he opened the bottle of AJ, the few gulps of the fresh drink having him slightly more awake. As Eridan pointed at the dolphins, he squinted slightly as well, tilting his head to the side so that he could get a better sense of where Eridan was pointing at.

"Oh, shit, I see them." He smiles softly, and nodding, unravelling himself from the blanket to offer him half of it. He didn't really offer, he just threw it over his back. Too bad if he didn't want it.

He blinked a bit in surprise when the blanket was thrown over him, glancing at Dave quickly before he just shrugged and shifted close enough that it was a comfortable warmth. "The sun's gonna be rising any time soon. I woke you up ten minutes before it's supposed to rise. Good thing you're an easy waker." He grinned at Dave.

He tugged his shirt down a little, only being in a long sleeved shirt and his boxers. He didn't bring pajamas because he didn't really have any, so that was his excuse for it. The boxers had ironic hearts all over them too.

He muffled a snicker against his arm at his boxer choice, shaking his head a bit and looking back out over the water. "I was planning on dragging you up here regardless of whether you got up or not. One way to wake someone up is an impromptu swim, don't'cha think?" He grinned at him and looked back over the horizon as the sun slowly started coming up.

Surprisingly enough, they weren't 100% stereotypical heart boxers, they were boxer-briefs. Mainly because he didn't like how large the other types were.

"I will wait until you sleeping and then blast "never gonna give you up" in your ear at full volume if you dare throw me in the water when im dressed." He said, grinning despite his words, and he turned on his camera, wanting to do a series of pictures of the sun rising, so he took the first one.

"That's a bit cruel isn't it? I make you go for a swim an' you ruin my hearing forever. Would you like that on your conscious Dave? Making your still-in-denial-maybe-fan deaf? Who will listen to your music then?" He laughed and nudged him with his elbow, before he took the photo. He left him alone once he saw that photos were being taken now.

"The dolphins are coming closer."

"Yeah I would, because you have two ears. A half deaf maybe-in-denial-fan is good enough for me. Better and more fans than I thought I'd get." He smiles. He zoomed in on the dolphins, waiting so that he could snap a picture of one jumping. "Yeah they are, they're so cl- fuck, fuck, fuck." He nearly missed the moment, but managed to take a picture, with two of them jumping nonetheless! "By fuck i mean closer" He smiles, putting the camera down for now, seeing as he wouldn't be taking pictures every two seconds

He snorted and scoffed, shaking his head. "You are so mean t'me. So mean, so rude." He shut up when he focused on the dolphins, watching them leap up and start to play around. "Looks like they're done eating... Or they're just playing with their food." He grinned and shifted a bit to rest more comfortably under the blanket. "If they're here again tomorrow do you want to see if they'll let us swim with them?"

"I really am, I'm just awful aren't I?" He smiles, sipping more of his drink, and moving closer to Eridan so that they could both be comfortable under the blanket.

"Oh hell to the yes, I'm down to swim with dolphins." He nods "But then again I'm pretty down for anything."

They were shoulder to shoulder now under the blanket, and Eridan found it quite warm and comfortable.

"We probably won't be able to get right up close an' personal with them unless they come to us first. An' if they get aggressive we'll have to back off quick."

He looked at Dave briefly before looking back at the sun rise. "So, jumping off waterfalls today. The way out of that cave is all underwater, unless you want to climb back up."

"Oh yeah about that, is it far? And I doubt i'll be climbing it, so we'll have to go out the other way." He was starting to get hungry, but he wouldn't give into his hunger now of all times. Dave snapped another picture, rubbing his eyes so that they'd stop stinging.

"Anywhere between forty five minutes to an hours walk." He shrugged and stretched his legs out, bare feet hanging off the edge of the boat.

"Do you want me to go grab some food an' bring it up here?" He was getting a bit peckish himself.

He nodded. Forty five minutes was a short walk. Plus he was confident that Eridan kinda knew his way around.

"Oh nah dude, that's fine, just watch, this won't last much longer." He smiled a little, another picture being taken as they spoke.
