"He said exhibitionist." Eridan said, going to roll his eyes but realising he probably shouldn't know what he said. But then again he was in a quadrant with him, for a while, and figured out how to "sollux talk" as some would say.

Sollux scowled and pulled Dave off of Eridan to drop his ass in the water. "Open your earth dinguth."

Dave smiled a bit at Eridan, and kissed him between his eyes, but only to be dropped in the water a seconds later. He surfaced with a huff. "Its pronounced "urth" by the way." He teases

Sollux looked a little confused for a second, before the scowl depended and he flung a pippi at him. "Go fuck yourthsself asshole." He flung some more sand at Dave, before Eridan intervened, rolling his eyes. "Can you hold off with that shit for a bit? I'm hungry and it's getting close to sunset. Let's go."

Dave was laughing as he tried to shield himself, but hurried to hide behind Eridan when he managed. "You got it babe, let's go."

"Hiding behind a red like a coward." Sollux jeered, floating over them both and dropping shells onto Dave.

Eridan frowned up at him. "If you're the reason sand and shit gets tracked through my boat you're cleaning the entirety of it."

"Floating above us like an even bigger coward." He stuck his tongue out, but quickly just dove to get rid f the shells and sand.

Eridan sighed, walking a little faster before diving under the water. Sollux opted to just float over to the boat while the two of them swam, going slow so as not to bring on a headache. He carried the mouthpiece and mask he used, and touched down onto the deck soon enough.

Dave and Eridan followed soon after, still being sickeningly cute, though it was possible that Dave was partially doing it to annoy Sollux. He then wrapped himself up in his towel, sitting on the deck

Eridan was a little amused at Dave's tactics to annoy Sollux, but he was also embarrassed at having so much affectionate attention on him where someone else could see. It was odd. He was used to Dave's affection, but there was someone else to see it.

See it as if they were a proper red couple and that he wasn't someone who was told he shouldn't be with Dave.

Eridan moved to grab a towel and quickly dry himself, stretching his arms up to the ceiling and making his muscles bunch and relax. He pushed a hand through his hair to move it out of his face before heading down the steps to find the pringles again for a snack.

"Babe, can you bring me food?" He called out, hair still dripping, and he hummed in content as he warmed up.

"Food food or junk food?" He said, putting the bag of gummy bears Sollux had been chewing on before they left up there as well before hunting around for the sour cream pringles he'd seen Dave put away. "These good enough for you?" He said, holding them out to him.

Sollux had already snagged the gummy bears and had tucked himself back up into his corner to eat.

Eridan nodded, pulling himself up into the cockpit again and dropping to sit next to him, tucking himself up against his side, before shifting to have his head in Dave's lap. Sollux shoved his feet up against Dave's side, stretched out and mostly relaxed.

Dave petted his hair with his clean hand, enjoying seeing the little curls, and yawns half way through his snak. "Think I'm gonna sleep in a while." Now that it was summer time, the Sun set was later, so it was actually quite late and Dave was tired.

"You can sleep after proper food." He prodded him in the knee, sitting up again to head downstairs and get the barbecue chicken and the buns.

"C'mon." He handed over a bun with chicken to Dave, sorting himself out and pushing the stuff to Sollux, who made his with psionics and started eating.

Dave didn't even say anything about that, because he loves food, and having someone give him the food was even better.

He tucked himself up against Eridan, his eyelids already kinda heavy as he ate the bun.

Eridan made sure to nudge or gently jostle Dave a little every few seconds to keep him awake.

Sollux was finished eating faster than them, and rolled up the gummy bear bag so that it wouldn't go weird before putting it to the side. "I'll take him down. I've bagsies'd him for the night anyway."

Eridan nodded, not really up for arguing who gets Dave for the night.

Eridan smiled fondly at Dave, pressing a kiss to his forehead before letting go of him. Sollux rolled his eyes, lifting him up with psionics and making sure not to bump his head as he levitated him down the stairs. That can happen in the morning, or some other time. Sollux dumped him in the front cabin, poking him in the side. "Dude, change. I am not thleeping next to you while you're in fucking thwimmerth."

He groaned a little, but eventually got up, and went in to get changed. He was sleeping in boxers only though, so he called him after a quick 2 minute shower, already changed into his broken record boxers and on the bed

Sollux rinsed off quickly in the shower after Dave, hissing about the cold water and quickly drying himself before pulling boxers on. He slept in those as well, because it was comfortable and not as much effort. He dropped down besides Dave, sighing and pulling a blanket over him.

Dave was quick to cuddle up to him, way too sleepy to care, and nuzzled his shoulder as he closed his eyes.

Sollux looked surprised when Dave curled up around him, frozen a little until he could figure out what the fuck was happening. He heard Eridan moving around in the little kitchen area, putting the food away. "Ith he alwayth like thith?" He asked quietly, looking down at Dave.

Eridan poked his head around the corner and nodded, looking at Dave. "You're not gonna be able to make him let go. He just cuddles, you'll get used to it." Eridan turned, grabbing a blanket and moving to sit up in the cockpit again.

Dave was already dead asleep before they knew it, holding onto Sollux loosely, like a kid would hold a toy to sleep.

To his surprise, Sollux fell asleep pretty quickly with Dave curled up around them.

Eridan ended up napping up in the cockpit, waking around midnight and then just looking out over the bay and doing a bit of thinking. Mostly of how content Dave had look curled up against Sollux, despite being pretty much asleep.
