Dave was absolutely going to cuddle Sollux tonight. He wanted to know how he'd react to that.

After a bit, Dave snapped a single picture, one of them, and smiled.

Sollux blinked as Dave took a photo, startling out of the awed daze he was in and shifting away from Dave a little bit. He tried to sound bored, glancing over at Eridan. "Ith thith all?"

Eridan just sighed, leaning against Dave and tucking his face against his shoulder. "Shut up Sol."

Sollux mock-scowled, because this place was just far too pretty to ruin it.

Dave kissed the top of his head, and nuzzled his hair. He pulled Sollux close again, petting his hair. "Just relax."

He whined a bit, but didn't give up. He just wrapped his arm around Sollux again.

After a few more moments of silence, he kissed Eridan's forehead. "I missed this place." He muttered.

Sollux sighed and eventually decided that shoving his bony self up against Dave's side is good enough. He jabbed his elbow against his hip, fidgeting a little until he was comfortable.

Erida nodded, murmuring a little "same".

Sollux, for his part, shifted a little and dug his bony body close to Dave, stretching his legs out and looking up at the twinkling little lights.

Dave could nearly fall asleep there, but he slept too much for that. Instead he looked at Sollux after a while, and nuzzled his hair. "Doing alright?"

Eridan sighed, but sat up, checking the rope was still secure around their waists. "Alright, if you insist. Dave, do you want to take anymore photos?"

"We'll go through the quicker way, the one that comes up near the reef. It's about a ten minute swim directly from here, unlike the one we took last time where it was nearly an hours worth." He stood up, stretching his arms above his head and catching Sollux staring at him. He felt a little confused, and dropped his arms self-consciously.

"Come on." He headed to the water's edge, leading the way in and only wincing once when a particularly sharp bit of coral stabbed into his foot.

Dave didn't notice a thing, just walking with them. He did swear like a sailor when he stepped on a small bone though, because holy shit its like leggos

Eridan pushed off to swim as soon as he could, Sollux following soon after with a grimace. He'd gotten the bone treatment too, and ow. Fucking ow.

Eridan gestured for them to put the masks and mouthpieces in, and once they were ready he dove down and towards an opening opposite the one they came out of.

Sollux didn't at first, but the deeper they went, the more anxious he felt. Whethey got ot the opening and started swimming through, guided only by Eridan and a camera light, he shoved away his pride and clung to Dave's hand with both of his.
