Sollux glanced at him, but once they were through the tight tunnel and had moved into a sort of low cavern thing filled with stalactites and stalagmites, he re,axed a little, and shifted his grip to only hold one of his hands.

Dave got a little less worried when Sollux did that, and settled with just glancing around at the view. And also at Eridan's ass because why not.

He does have an ass made for staring at. The cavern eventually narrowed again, and Eridan reached back to take Dave's other hand before swimming through the opening in front of them. They came out a few meters away from the edge of the reef.

Dave tugged himself close to Eridan once they were out, and smiled as he gave him an Eskimo kiss. They really were ridiculously and sickeningly sweet.

His cheeks flushed a little at Dave being so openly affectionate when they had company, but he was smiling right back at him.

Sollux just felt uncomfortable at the display, because it looked like Eridan was genuinely loved, and he couldn't understand his own feelilngs at that.

Eventually Eridan pushed Dave away and led the way to shallow waters where they could stand.

Once they could stand, he took off his mouth piece and his goggles, and slicked his wet hair back with his fingers. "Damn, that was something."

Eridan nodded, yawning a little and moved to just float on his back after he'd untied the rope from around his waist.

Sollux undid the knot from around his waist, and just moving to sit in the shallows and rub at the marks left by the mask. "It wath... pretty, I gueth."

Dave undid the last knot, and moved to put away the rope on land before he too floated on his back, slowly floating towards Sollux. He rolls his eyes at the "I guess", but no one can tell because they're closed. He'll ask him what he thinks od the island later. "Glad you didn't have a panic attack." He mutters.

"I'm not prone to clauthtrophobia, but thothe caveth were a little too dark for me. Probably a good thing you can glow like thothe dumb thtickerth human kidth put on their wallth." He said at Eridan, digging his toes into the sand and placing pebbles and small shells lightly onto Dave's chest when he got close.

Eridan rolled his eyes at them both, slipping under the water to rinse off before moving to sit near Dave in the shallows. He simply watched as Sollux kept on piling shells and pebbles onto Dave's chest.

Dave looked pretty relaxed, breathing softly as the pile got bigger. If he was entertained, who was Dave to make him stop.

Eridan eventually slipped under water again to find some bigger shells, and even found a crab while he managed to convince to stay still while he handed it over to Sollux with a shit-eating grin on his face. Sollux contained his snicker while he shifted his ass out of the water and used his psionics to levitate the crab onto Dave's chest.

Dave peeks at his chest when he feels something moving, and his red widen, shrieking as he throws it in the water with a swat, and squirming to get out of the water. "I'm going to murder you both."

Eridan laughed, catching the crab and setting it back under the water to scurry off while Sollux snickered and flicked a few shells at Dave.

Eridan tried to play innocent, pulling on a pouting innocent expression. "I didn't do anything. It was all Sol."

"Bullshit. You gave me the crab!"

"I did not!"

"Did too!"

Dave grabbed Sollux's foot, and pulled him into the water with a splash. "Eridan, I'll give you five seconds of advance." He said playfully.

Eridan didn't need much more warning, and instead of taking to the sand like he should do so that Dave at least has a chance of catching him, he dove under the water, kicking quickly to put some distance between them while Sollux yelped and flailed, kicking at Dave.

Dave grinned as he splashed water over Sollux's face, and a few seconds later he dove after Eridan, trying to catch up with him

Sollux spluttered, kicking water at Dave and looking a little like a drowned cat as he pulled himself back onto the sand and just watched as Dave tried swimming after Eridan.

Eridan was a sleek grey shape in the water, keeping deliberately just out of Dave's reach with a grin.

Eventually, Dave manages to grab his foot, and pulls himself up by it, starting to ruffle Eridan's hair

Eridan laughed, slinging his arm around Dave's waist and swimming them back to shore while Dave is trying to climb him like a koala. He surfaced, holding onto Dave and standing with a grin and a laugh while he ruffles his hair.

He kissed him, nipping at his lip briefly and holding Dave a little more comfortably before pulling back. His curls were a mess, flopping down around his fins and making him look younger and wilder.

Sollux tried not to think on that too much, instead getting a hand full of wet sand and flinging it at them. "Exthhibithionithtth!"

He smiled wide, letting his arms wrap around his shoulders, and kissed his cheek once they were done kissing. He liked the way Eridan looked right now, just young and care free.

He yelped when some same got him though. "What was that? I seriously didn't understand a word of, holy shit."
