Kanaya is silent for a bit, pondering that. "I see. Thank you for your cooperation." She hangs up on him then, and Eridan's busy watching Dave and chewing his lips to almost bleeding again.

He looks at the phone when she hangs up, and then shrugs, handing Eridan the phone. "Were you trying to tell her that for all this time?"

He nodded, looking a bit worn out. "It actually started out almost pleasant. She asked if I had healed well before trying to extract any information I had. I didn't really know what to tell her other than I wasn't involved." He was quiet a few seconds. "Am I really the only reason you're in a black with Sollux?"

He nodded, going to sit next to Eridan. "Yeah, pretty much. At least he only bothers me punctually." Dave kissed Eridan's cheek, wrapping an arm around him.

"I don't want you to have to go through a black relationship you're not interested in Dave. You can split it off with him if you're not wanting to be with him. You know I don't care much for what they do any more. I'm pretty much used to it." He was concerned that being in a blackrom, regardless of the other partner, was going to make Dave miserable.

He looked at him for a few seconds, before a small smile made it's way onto his face. "Soo... Can I buy an aquarium? A small one of course, and I'll make sure I have all the proper licensing and everything first, including most of a degree before I start doing anything, though I know so much already I don't need a degree in wildlife handling. Sort of, I do technically need to do a small course, but I found a year long one that I could do."
