Eridan stepped into the shower once Dave was out. He was just as quick as Dave, except he took a few moments to admire his tattoos in the mirror before heading to his room in just a towel. "So this okay?" He said, gesturing to the clothes.

He nodded. "Yeah, looks fine to my inner fashionista. I can approve." He gives Eridan a thumbs-up from the other side of the bed, having already started to get dressed.

Eridan nodded, starting to get dressed. Once he was dressed, he went back to the bathroom to style his hair, making sure he looked impeccable before heading back to his room and picking out a few rings to adorn his fingers with.

Dave was ready by the time Eridan came back, just touching up the knot on his tie so that it would look nice. "Ready to go?"

He smiled, taking a second to give Dave a once over and nod his head in approval. "Yep. You still sure about this?" He figured he'll just pretend he wants to cook dinner at Dave's and bring groceries over or something. That'll work.

"Absolutely sure." He goes over to get a kiss, lingering there as he holds his hand. "Love you."

Eridan nodded, and led the way back to his car. It was a short drive to the water front, but then they were there and getting out in front of the restaurant.

Once they got there, Dave was still feeling pretty confident with his decision. He held Eridan's hand as they walked in, most of the tables empty still.

He looked pretty happy to be there, and once they had been led to a table and given menus he looked up at Dave, smiling gently. "Thanks Dave."

Eridan pretty much managed to melt all of Dave's heart with just one look. How mushy. "No need to thank me. I just want you to be happy." He smiles back, wider than Eridan. He's still comfortable too, since he doesn't have to worry about other people.

His smile widens, and he bumps his foot against Eridan's playfully under the table. "Please, this fair maiden will swoon if you keep being adorable."

"I'm not being adorable." He looked at him incredulously, shaking his head in amusement. A waiter came around to get their drink order, and Eridan asked for a lemon lime bitters.

He was going to say apple juice, but then he remembered he was eating fancy, and re-thought his order. He ended up asking for gin, since it was a soft alcohol and it tasted kinda nice.

Eridan looked over the menu, deciding on the char grilled chicken breast in a gravy sauce with a side of salad. "Shall we get a bowl of chips to share?"

He looked over the menu too, and decided yet again, that he didn't know what half of this shit was. He ended up going with something that sounded like it was rare cooked stake with salad on the side and rice. "Sure, I'll take it"

Eridan leaned back a little and caught the eye of the waiter. He placed both their orders, and handed the menus over once he was done. He looked back to Dave then, still smiling a little.

Dave got a small breadstick, balancing it between his upper lip and his nose as if he had a mustache, and pretended to curl the tip. "Hm, what a fine, fancy place we're at. Astonishing."

Eridan muffled a snort with his hand, reaching over to take the breadstick away with a grin. "You're so uncouth. This is a fancy place, do be so kind as to act like you're used to this sort of frivolous debacle." He grinned, tapping his nose with the end of the breadstick before putting it down.
