Eridan nodded, burrowing close to Dave and curling around him. He held on tight to him, feeling completely and utterly.... lucky. Lucky that he had Dave.

Dave went back to rubbing his horns, kissing his hair as he went. He loved these moments between them, though he'd never admit to it.

Eridan felt like he could almost fall asleep where he was, but also didn't want to, because then he wouldn't be able to consciously feel this sort of treatment. So he just curled up against Dave and basked in the attention, feeling for once that he wasn't being selfish in wanting it.

Eridan's low purr could probably send him back to sleep if he hadn't just woken up, honestly. He was happy just doing this though. In fact, Dave only stopped for a couple of seconds to cover Eridan's back with blankets.

Eridan smiled a little at the gesture, and showed his appreciation through a nuzzle against Dave's chest and a squeeze in the hug he was giving. This was nice. Relaxing.

He probably could fall asleep here, he realised, eyes closed and utterly content. He did end up dozing off, grip loosening on Dave's shirt as he dozed.

Dave kept pampering him, only realizing that Eridan was asleep a good 15 minutes after. Maybe he snapped a picture or two.

Eridan will probably delete those pictures once he finds them. But for now, he was content to sleep curled up against Dave with his head in his lap and face against his stomach.

Dave entertained himself on his phone while he rubbed his horn with one of his hands, pretty ready to just stay there for the whole morning. After all, a sleeping Eridan is a rare sight to witness.

Eridan seemed like he was going to sleep the whole morning. He didn't know he was this tired, but then again, under the influence of Dave completely calming him and relaxing him, anyone would fall asleep.

Dave just might have to do this every night before going to bed. He is finally learning the little tricks of how to train your Eridan.

At around four hours later, he's starting to get hungry though, and wonders if Eridan will be done sleeping soon.

Eridan will probably catch onto that pretty quick though, and then he'll have to find a way to avoid Dave and his gentle touches. He can't lose his streak of being back on minimal sleep now.

He'd probably wake up as soon as Dave moves, but for now, as long as Dave's hands are on him, he's not waking up any time soon.

He wrinkles his nose a little, his stomach starting to ache. Maybe he can get away. Yeah, he can definitely try. Dave puts a pillow next to him, and starts trying to move Eridan's head to be on it instead of his lap. Once he has that done, he gives him some more horn rubs to make sure he'll stay, and then he goes off to get some food in his stomach.
