He squeezed Eridan slightly, and kissed his cheek. "It's fine." He reassured. "See, he'd rather be playing his dumb game all day than going out and swimming with us."

Still, he tugged Sollux closer and forced him to act as a head rest for himself.

Sollux grumbled when he was dragged closer, squirming a little before just giving up. He made himself comfortable, pulling out his phone and going back onto the games to dick around until Dave let him up again.

Eridan shifted and squirmed until he was with his head against Dave's sternum, arm and leg slung over him.

Sollux tried not to stare. This wasn't the sort of thing you did with a black around. This was red stuff, or pale stuff, it was too trusting for him to be around.

Dave however doesn't really care, and nuzzles Sollux's shoulder as he drifts back into a light sleep. He knows Sollux can be cuddly, and he's taking advantage of that.

Eridan glanced up at Sollux to see his expression when Dave drifted off, and managed to smile a little when he saw his eyes flicker from his phone to Dave and back. Sollux definitely wasn't all black for Dave, and while that made something miserable and possessive curl around his gut, he knew that at least Sollux wouldn't go so hard on Dave anymore.

He slept for a long time, keeping Sollux hostage there, but eventually he also squeezed Eridan closer. He seemed to be happy with having equal doses of Eridan and Sollux

Eridan ended up drifting off as well, but he moved a little in his sleep, ending up with his head on Dave's shoulder and lying more on his stomach. Sollux didn't move an inch, letting them sleep. It felt... rather nice, actually, to have them both like that.

Dave just moved his hand after an hour or so, looking for something. He let go of his shirt to pap around, and once he found Sollux's hand, he settled again. He wouldn't be waking up until someone enterveins

Sollux blinked a little in surprise when he looked down and saw Dave holding his hand. He didn't move for a few seconds, but after a bit he shifted, nudging Dave a little to get him to wake up. It was dinner time, roughly, and he was hungry.

Dave whined, clinging to Sollux, and refusing to open his eyes. He is comfortable and warm, no waking up for him. Nope.

Sollux rolled his eyes, and nudged Eridan instead, trying to get either of them to wake up now.

Eventually, frustrated when Eridan just hissed at him, he lightly zapped them both. "Will one of you wake up? I'm hungry."

Dave whined louder, but eventually opens his eyes. "Float yourself some sandwiches." He grumbles.

"I don't want sandwiches. And besides, all the ones you set out are gone. We ate them this morning." He rolled his eyes, poking Dave repeatedly in the shoulder. "Just get up off your ass and get us food."

Dave groaned again, but eventually opened his eyes. He put Eridan on Sollux's lap without thinking twice, and jabbed a finger on Sollux's shoulder. "If you bother him I will personally put spiders in your food."

With that warning, he left to go make them all something.

Eridan whined softly when he was moved over, squinting a little to find Dave, but since Sollux was warmer than Dave, he settled down again pretty quick. He didn't know he was lying on Sollux, too pained and tired to care much.

Sollux looked like someone had just dropped the most fragile thing in the world in his lap and he was expected not to break it. He didn't move even a hair.

Dave made two chiken sandwiches for each one of them, and came back with that plus drinks after a while.

When he saw Eridan flag asleep though, he smiled, and handed Sollux his food. "Spiderless."

Sollux rolled his eyes, holding his hand out to take the food before gesturing to Eridan. "Can you get him off me now? It's weird. You're fucking with ideals I don't really want changed. It's bad enough I'm gonna be second guessing myself already about this shithead, don't add to it." He whined, biting into the sandwich.

"I think I'm gonna leave him there. Tough luck. Try not to look at his adorable face, or his cute tilted down fins. When I rubbed his horns, he purred so much in his sleep, like /so/ much."

He sat a bit away from them so that Sollux couldn't give him Eridan, knees pressed against his chest as he started eating.

Sollux glanced down at Eridan, who was indeed sporting a rather relaxed and content facial expression. Maybe it was because Sollux is as warm as Dave that he was so content, who knows.

"Shut up!" he hissed, glaring at Dave. "I don't want to know that! I want to despise him, okay? You don't know what it's like, when he flipped on me or when I flipped on him, it was better than the black shit but I couldn't have him red because he's so fuckin' useless and clingy!"

"I..." He stopped to think about that, looking at the wall opposite him so that he wouldn't look at Dave or Eridan. This was definitely the sort of thing you did not talk about with your black, but Sollux didn't have any other quadrant filled at the moment aside from his black, and Dave was human and probably didn't know the difference anyway. His shoulders slumped a little. "No. What I know about him, now and while I was his black. It makes him hard to hate properly. Like I still want to make him fix aspects about him that are stupid and irrational, but I can't imagine doing it black. He's too used to the kind of insults and criticism and jeers to understand it as trying to make him a better troll."

"And before you go off at me about me being his red, as long as he's happy fuck if I care. Plus we're not that black all the time, its whatever."

Sollux looked stricken, feeling utterly conflicted. "That's utterly against quadrants though. You can't... you can't just have multiples of a quadrant! That's... fucking unheard of! And besides, even if I put it forward he'll probably think I'm playing him or something, trying to make a fool out of him. It's what's happened to him in the past with someone else, so he'll probably expect it again."
