Sollux grumbled, swatting at Dave and trying to hug him closer at the same time. He didn't want to wake up, but he also didn't want to let go of Dave. Figures.

He did wake up eventually though, squinting up at Dave with a grumpy look on his face.

"I'm hungry." He muttered, and turned them around so that Dave was straddling him. "I need you to let go of me, like, now. Or else I'm just going to starve to death and probably piss here."

Sollux hissed at him, psionics zapping him a little. He sighed though and let go, shoving Dave away so he could curl up in the blankets again.

He whined, but decided to book it before Sollux changed his mind. He went to the bathroom first, and then went to eat something, looking around for Eridan as he munched on a chicken sandwich.

Eridan was sitting across the back bench behind the wheel, looking out over the water and eating pringles one by one. He didn't really notice anyone moving around downstairs, because he wasn't looking that way.

"Hey" He called out, stretching, and went over to Eridan to give him a big ol kiss on the cheek. "Good morning."

Eridan startled a little when he heard Dave, dropping his pringle back into his tub as he turned to look. He smiled a little, picking his pringle back up and finishing it off. "Hi. Did you sleep well?" The island was steadily growing smaller behind them.

He plopped down on Eridan's lap like he owned the place, and leaned against his shoulder. "Sure did. How about you?" He stole some pringles with a cheeky smile, munching on them along with his own food.

Eridan winced when Dave sat down in his lap, his weight pushing down on the bandages and the wound. He didn't move him though, not wanting to give up hugging Dave just because he was in pain. "I slept fine."

He immediately shot up when he saw Eridan wince, a worried look on his face. "Shit, sorry, I completely forgot you had that." He muttered. He was a little bummed out that he couldnt sit on his boyfriend's lap, but oh well, life goes on. "How long have you been up for?"

"It's fine." He said quickly, his arms going around Dave's waist to keep him in his lap. He didn't want to stop hugging him. Especially with the horrible thoughts going around his head right now. "Since dawn-ish." He kissed Dave's temple, smiling a little.

He looked unsure about that, but hey, if Eridan wanted him on his lap. He just moved so that he was leaning on the hip that wasn't injured, and nuzzled his shoulder lovingly. "Really? Holy shit. I could have kept you company, you should have woken me up."

He shook his head, reaching to put the lid back on the pringles before it went everywhere. "Nah. You looked like you needed to sleep. Plus you and Sollux all curled up together made me feel cruel just thinkung about separating you both." He teased.

"He's fine without me there. Fucker just went straight back to sleep." He smiles, pressing more kisses to his cheek. "Plus we were all curled up cus you weren't there for me to curl up around. Everyone is important in a cuddle pile, my dude."

"You're such a dork." He said fondly, hugging him close. "And it was when I woke up that you were all curled up together. I just left you, feeling like an awkward third weel in your grumpy-faced spooning fest." He kissed his forehead, laughing softly.

"I was sleeping! There was no choice!" He grinned as he nibbled on his lip a little. "No one is in good position to make decisions when they're 90% asleep."

Eridan just shook his head, amused. "Back to the point, I didn't wake you because you look tired as heck." He kissed his forehead, shifting Dave a little so that he could rest his cheek against his shoulder and still be able to see all the instruments and the wheel.

Dave settled by petting Eridan's hair once he had finished his sandwich, smoothing back the curls, and wrapping them around his finger. "Well now I'm not. How long till we get to land?"

"A few hours still. Probably just over two. You can go back to sleep if you're tired. I'll wake you when we get there." He leaned into Dave a little, sighing softly. He was going to miss the island, but Dave had classes and he doubted Sollux would stay longer than necessary.

He shook his head. "Nah, I need quality time with you. I don't like sharing sometimes." Dave pressed a couple of kisses to his hair, feeling good. It was weird sharing his affection his Sollux, honestly, especially with Eridan in the room, but at the same time he really liked it. He likes this the best though.

His fins wiggled happily and he hugged Dave closer, nuzzling at his hair and kissing his temple. He liked spending time like this, and he found that he was getting tired of the curl of jealousy that always showed up when he saw Dave clinging or lying on Sollux these days.

"You're absolutely all mine. All for me." He smiles, though, as he kisses the tip of his nose, he realizes that doesn't quite work like that. Or at least it won't soon.

"Always." He said, kissing Dave properly and smiling in content as he hugged him close.

Eventually though, his hip started aching more and he reluctantly moved Dave off of his lap. "Can you go get me some painkillers? Just the normal ones will do."
