"I'm not going to bribe a fancy restaurant to deliver food. They don't really have employees for that do they now?" He rolled his eyes again, snickering a little.

"Not deliver, they can just make it and put it in a box, and we go there and get it." He shrugs. He just really didn't like the atmosphere of fancy places. It made him feel off.

That made him laugh properly, just shaking his head at Dave. "No. I don't think any fancy establishment would do that for any sort of money. And if they did, they would charge so much extra."

He smiles when he made Eridan laugh, leaning back against his chair, relaxed. "Bullshit, fancy establishments need to lower their client standards, I swear." He grins. As he says that, a big plate with sashimi arrived, and got put between them both. It had butterfish, salmon, tuna, and octopus, surprisingly, despite it not being technically fish.
Dave got a cup with soy sauce, pouring it into a small container they had in front of their plates, and gets his chopsticks. "The white fish is really soft, it rivals the salmon pretty well." He said, talking about the butterfish

Eridan picked up his chopsticks, leaning forward a little to pick up one of the tuna ones. He didn't really like octopus, so he'll just leave those for Dave. It did taste rather nice, especially with the soy sauce. He went for one of the butterfish ones next, savouring the taste briefly. "It is pretty nice. Salmon is still my favourite though." He carefully dunked the salmon one in the soy sauce, deciding he preferred that one without the sauce for next time.

Dave didn't like the octopus either, it was really chewy and he wasn't there for that. They could just leave it. "Yeah, most of the things here are salmon based, they're pretty good, honestly."

Eridan nodded, working his way through some more of the salmon and then some of the tuna as well. They soon finished as much as they liked, leaving the octopus where it was.

The next plate came as they finished, having the said rice balls wrapped in salmon on one side, and little rice squares with salmon on top on the other, a little of cream cheese being seen in the middle of the rice.

"How many dishes did you order for us?" He wasn't sounding anything other than mildly curious as he used his chopsticks to pick up one of the salmon balls and look at it closely before popping it in his mouth.

"For now? Four." The plate that had the most stuff was the sashimi though, every other plate just having three or four of each. "I didn't order a lot in quantity so that you can try out a lot of stuff." He reached for the ones with cream cheese, humming in delight as he ate one of them.

Eridan nodded, okay with that. He liked the salmon balls a lot, but wasn't too keen on cheese so he left those ones for Dave for now, though of course he left some of the salmon balls for him as well, only taking one more before leaving Dave the other two.

Dave didn't really mind only eating the cheese ones, so he only ate one of the salmon balls, pushing the other one to Eridan with a smile. "Getting shy on me now? Ain't nobody leaving this place hungry when they're here with me." He teased, eating the last cheese one.
2016-03-13 12:10:28 -
🌀
"I didn't want you just confined to eating cheese ones." He grinned, eating the last salmon ball quick enough. There was also the fact that Eridan hadn't really been hungry a lot lately, so he probably would feel full before Dave did.

He rolls his eyes with a smile. "I could eat the cheese ones for the rest of my life as far as I'm concerned." They really were pretty great.
The food came as they ate, and it was finished by them soon enough. Dave didn't eat a lot, since he grew up used to not having a lot of food, plus he was scrawny, but he did eat more than Eridan.

He pulled a face at that, really not liking cheese at all and the fact that someone could want to eat so much of it? Gross.
He sat back with a sigh, having only eating one thing off the last plate and just leaving the rest for Dave. It had been a nice dinner, but he just wasn't as hungry as he thought he was. "Thanks, Dave."

"No problem." He smiles. "Thank /you/ for the evening." Dave said, making his best gentlemanly tone, and just sat back, enjoying how comfortably full he was.

Eridan snorted at his tone, shaking his head. His smile was gentle though, happy, and he looked around the place again. "As much as I know you love these atmospheres, we gonna get the bill?" He wouldn't mind sitting for a bit longer, but he wasn't too fond of wasting time or just dawdling.

"We just get up and go pay, yeah, c'mon." He stretched before he got up, heading for the cashier. He told her the number of their table, and paid for their dinner, holding Eridan's hand once he was done so that they could leave.

Eridan didn't even bother trying to pay before Dave could, already knowing that it wouldn't go down well. Besides, this was Dave's treat for him. He was a bit relieved to get out and back to his car though. The place had started getting busy when they were half way through, and crowds were becoming uncomfortable for him again.

He got in the passenger's seat after getting a kiss, buckling up and waiting for Eridan. "Man I haven't eaten here in a while. I love this place."

Eridan smiled a little at him, buckling in and starting the car. "Do they do your fancy take outs?" He teased, glancing at him before turning his attention back to the road.

"They do! I have a pamphlet at home on the fridge, its like, five dollars a box full of stuff."
2016-03-13 12:42:05 -

Eridan laughed, shaking his head at Dave and snickering as he stopped at a red light. "I was joking, but apparently you're very serious on your take out places."
2016-03-13 12:43:54 -
●
"I am very very serious about having no manners while I'm eating." He grins. "Takeout is the best way of doing that and eating good food."

He snickered, turning down the street to his apartment and slowing as he pulled into the garage. "Only for you Dave."
