"You would waste whatever budget you receive on my shit? Wow Dave." He snickered, waiting until Dave was buckled in before starting the car and pulling out of the parking space. "If I ever write anything worth reading I'll let you know. Now, where are we going?"

"It is, plus I get to be snarky as shit to the actors." He grins, giving him said directions as he went. It only took them around ten minutes to get to the small restaurant, that already seemed to be half full.

"But not too snarky, other wise no one will like you and then you wont have good actors for your movies." He smiled at Dave briefly, turning his attention to getting a parking spot.

He laughs a little, shrugging. "There has to be balance in everything, I suppose."

Once they got out the car, he went to hold Eridan's hand again, feeling very touchy feely today. He walked into the restaurant, looking around. It was a small place, only big enough for 7 tables of 4. He lead Eridan to one of the spare ones, sitting down. "This is cheap as hell, but also the best i've ever had.

He glanced around, taking in the general atmosphere of the whole place. "What are you going to have?" He didn't know what was good and what was the best, so he looked to Dave for recommendation.

He hums softly in thought, opening the menu before them both. "Well, you just kinda write down whatever you want on a paper," He pointed at a stack of sticky notes. " and they bring it to you whenever, so we can try a lot of stuff. Independently of what we get, we pay a fixed price for the food, drinks not included." He said automatically, even though he was going to pay. It was really cheap here. "We could start with sashimi though." He said, since Eridan liked raw fish.

"This is your treat right? I say you just get things for me, so I can try it." He smiled, glancing down at the menu. "I made you waffles, you treat me to dinner. Excellent deal Dave." He did like the idea of starting with sashimi though, so he nodded for Dave to write it down first.

He smiles, laughing a little to himself as he started writing down things. After that, he wrote a couple more things, and put the number of their table on the edge of the note before sticking it to the side of the table for someone to take. "This is the most authentic place I could find. There are these balls of rice wrapped in salmon and sprinkled with some orange stuff, they're heavenly."

"It sounds delicious." He watched him write, and looked back up at Dave when he was done. "How long do you think it takes to make? It's not really busy here is it?" He looked around, noting how many tables were filled.

"That sounds great, wouldn't mind that at all." He grins. Dave was slowly getting used to the idea of Eridan sometimes spending money on him, since he was loaded and the money Dave allowed him to spend wasn't much. If it made him happy, he'd at least try to be ok with it. "Fancy food is good, but it isn't the same as relaxing and stuffing your face with delicious food, man."

"I guess I won't take you out to eat fancy any more than. Even though we've only done that once." He pouted a little, because he liked seeing Dave in a suit.

"Sure, I think." He shrugs. When he got taken out to eat high class, he just felt like a burden and stressed out over his table manners. "I can come with you to eat fancy if you want though, not opposing to it." He quickly said. "Just... not often."
