Eridan reached for his hand again once he was close enough. He rolled his eyes at him, kissing his cheek and smiling.

He smiled wider, and just focused on kissing him and looking around. The next area was more rock-filled, so Dave just kinda stopped. "Either you carry me through that, or we're going inside." He points in the direction of the island's core.

Eridan pouted a little, because he still wanted to go right round the island before going in. He sighed, gesturing for him to get up on his back. "C'mon then. Piggyback rides for the soft footed one."

He huffed theatrically, but he was smiling as well as he stood up properly and adjusted his hold more comfortably on Dave. "Welcome." He set off down the rocky bit, choosing his step carefully in case he slipped.

He knew trolls were strong as hell, so Dave, a scrawny human, couldn't possibly be a whole lot of weight for him.

He nuzzled his hair happily as he went, but mostly rested his chin on top of his head to look around.

It was more balance than anything else. The rocks were pretty sharp in some places, and there was a whole bunch of barnacles everywhere. He was pretty sure he'll end up with little cuts on the bottom of his feet, but nothing big.
