"If I wanted you to shut up wouldn't you think I'd go about it in a better way? Like kissing you for example?" He laughed softly, nuzzling his cheek.

He kissed him quickly, smiling. "Shut up Dave." He said fondly, smiling rather openly at him as his fins gave a little wiggle.

He snickers with a big smile, and nuzzles his chest, sighing in content. "Good night Eridan."

"Night, love." He pulls another blanket closer, half over him but mostly against his back as he held Dave close and nuzzled his hair.

He took a while to fall asleep this time, but no longer than ten minutes. After that, he was dead asleep in his arms, content to just be there with him.

Eridan took longer than Dave, but eventually the pills took effect and he was out like a light, curled up a little around him.

When he woke up, Dave had his face pressed up against his chest, and was holding the blanket tight in his hands. Must have been cold during the night. He blinks up lazily, checking if Eridan was up

Eridan was still out, though would probably wake up when Dave started moving. He had one arm under his head, face tilted towards Dave and his other arm loosely wrapped around him.

He smiled slyly, and leaned up to press a small kiss to his lips. "Wakey wakey, eggs and Davey."

Eridan mumbled at him for that, arm tightening around him a little. It took a few more kisses before he cracked one eye open to look at him, lips curving up into a smile.

He moved one of his hands to be over Eridan's, continuing to press little pecks to his lips even after he was starting to wake up. "Hey there."

"Hi." He smiled, eyes closing again as he tugged Dave a little closer. He was still mostly asleep, but tried to return the kisses anyway.

He smiles wider, and squeezes his hand a bit. "Sleep well?"

He nodded, shifting his head so he could kiss his forehead. "I don't remember if I didn't. Did you sleep well?"

He hums as if to agree with him, nuzzling his cheek. "Wonderfully."

"Good." He kissed him again, smiling.

"Last day." He said with a sigh. "Shall we explore the island?"

He sighs softly as well, but kisses his cheek afterwards, sitting up on his lap. "Sure, we got all day."

"We'll start heading off around eight or nine tomorrow morning." He shifted so he was lying properly on his back, smiling up at Dave.

He moved to hold his hand properly now, and smiled back at him. "These seemed so short."

"We can always come back. You're always welcome to drag me away to go sail."

He snickered tiredly, rubbing his eye with his free hand as he nodded. "We can go again when this term is over."

"Yeah. Maybe I'll take you up or down the coast, or out to open sea or some of the islands further out from here."
