Eridan almost didn't want to wake him up once the pasta had boiled and the ham had been cooked. Still, food was a necessity. He got out the pringles for him as well, before moving over to shake him gently. "C'mon. Chow time."

He whined, curling on himself a bit, though his eyes opened. "Do I have to?" He muttered grumpily, curling himself around the blanket.

"Yes. Food, and then you can go curl up on the blanket pile and sleep for as long as you want. C'mon love." He gave him another little shake, leaning down to kiss his forehead.

"Hmm..." He wanted to sleep now, but food is good and that was a good offer. He'd take it.

Getting up with another whine, he keeps the blanket as a cape, and goes to get his food

Eridan smiled, kissing his forehead again and handing him a plate with the food already dished up. He took a seat next to him, grabbing one of the forks he put out for them and tucking in.

Eridan laughed softly, turning his head to nose at his hair. "Are you really that tired? Do you get lethargic when you're not surrounded by people?" He sounded curious, one eyebrow raised as he looked at him.

"Guess it's a good thing it's the last day huh. I can wake up real earlier tomorrow and set off earlier if you want to be back quicker?" He frowns a little, finishing off his plate amd wrapping an arm around him.

He just frowned, kissing his temple before moving to go wash up. He didn't know what it felt like to not be antisocial, so he couldn't quite get why Dave was drained from lack of more interactions, but he wouldn't force him to spend more time than they agreed on out here.

Dave was done eating soon enough, and added his plate to Eridan's on the sink. "Can you come nap with me now?" He nuzzled his shoulder as he spoke.

He smiles, kissing his shoulder with a hum of approval. He heads for the bedroom without any protest, and throws himself on the blanket pile.

Eridan smiles after him, hurrying to put everything away and wipe down the bench tops before following Dave to the back cabin. He flopped down beside him, nuzzling up against his shoulder and pulling him close in a hug.

Eridan combed his fingers through his hair, rubbing his other hand up and down his back gently. He felt bad that he'd kept Dave from other people this long. If he'd known that it would drain him, he wouldn't have even suggested it.
