Eridan nuzzled over his forehead and hair, fins wiggling happily as he shifted to by leaning back more on the couch and cuddling Dave.

He sighed in content, wrapping his arms around Eridan's middle as he hugged him close, closing his eyes. "You really don't mind?"

"No love. I like it." He kissed his forehead, smiling. "Usually I'm the clingy one, but it's nice to know you like to cling just as much as I do sometimes."

"Oh boy, do I." He snickers, and kisses the tip of Eridan's nose. "You've literally never been clingy with me. You're imagining things."

"I've been restrainin' myself a little." He admitted, smiling at him. "Didn't want to scare you off when we just started, and now I still sort of don't, and I don't want to make you uncomfortable either."

"Well man, don't. Let me know you want to be all up in my stuff all the time, that's awesome. I mean, it's not possible, but it's cute." He says, pressing little kisses to his cheeks.

He laughed softly, shaking his head a little. "Nah. I'll let you know when I want attention, I sort of do that a little already, but I won't go full clingy on you. No one needs to experience that."

"I always want attention." He shrugs. "But yeah, that's cool too man. I like giving you attention as much as I like getting it."

"Good." He nuzzled his hair, shifting until he was comfortably lying against the back of the couch and Dave was cuddled up to him.

Dave settled for pressing kisses to his neck and jaw, content to just lay there for a bit with him.

Eridan was good to lie there for as long as they both could, but he did have to clean up all the dishes and things he used and he hated leaving a mess. He eventually nudged Dave gently. "Let me just clean up and then we can go cuddle."

He hummed in agreement, but not before snatching a kiss. He then sat up and moved out of his lap. "Let me help."

"You don't have to. It's not much." He didn't try to stop him if he wanted to help. It was quicker that way anyway. He started on the washing up, getting all the dishes to the side of the small sink.

He shrugs. "It's cool, not like I want to just stand around doing nothing." He starts putting the food leftovers on a plastic bag so that they can dump it in the trash when they get back home.

He smiled a little at him in thanks, getting through the washing up pretty quickly and starting on the drying once he was sure there was no leftover fish scales or bones anywhere on the boat.

Eridan set his fishing knife back in it's holder and in the cupboard over the couch, and reached over to grab Dave's hand as he moved back to the back cabin.

He had to smile at that, fins wiggling as he looked at Dave. "You encourage me to be." He was joking a little, leaning close to kiss his forehead.
