"I'm confident in my abilities. I'd do it a lot slower on your than I did any of mind. It'll drag out the process but it's what I'll feel most comfortable with. And of course I'll practice the design. But I was just thought you might prefer a proper tattoo artist doing it. Like you want me to do."

He smiles a little, and leans down to kiss his cheek affectionately. "If you're confident in them, I'm confident in them too." Plus it sounds like a thing that would actually strengthen their bond, in a way. It was certainly something he'd only trust certain people with.

He smiled, fins wiggling a little. "Then I'll be happy to tattoo your back once you're confident with my practices. However, Mr Strider, you will have to follow my tried and trusted care for tattoos. Meaning if I say you're not running around like a loon, you're not running around like a loon."

He sits up, placing a hand over his his heart. "I pledge allegiance to the trusted techniques of Eridan Ampora and to his careful methods of tattooing, for which it stands one slowly bettering practice under God, with designs and tattoos for all. How's that?"

"Perfectly idiotic. Now if you'd kindly refrain from telling the fact that I was the one who tattooed your back to your friends I'd be very grateful as it will probably decide the means of my continued existence." He grinned, leaning up to kiss his cheek.

He snickered, rollign his eyes a little before just relaxing into Dave's hands in his hair. "If that's all it takes then I'll gladly take pictures for you."

Dave presses a lazy succession of kisses to his lips, petting his hair gently, and only tugging softly every so often. It's surprising how fast he managed to ignore the fact that he and Eridan were in complete isolation together in an island, but he's not complaining.

Eridan relaxed into the touches and kisses, fins giving a little wiggle every so often. He was so obviously relaxed in this environment, this sort of quaint isolation. He looked so much more at ease, this was his natural habitat after all.
