He kissed his hair. "I like pleasing and being pleased. I like being praised as well but do you have any idea how awkward it is to ask for someone to say you're doing good, or even go as far as to call you 'good boy'?" His fins wiggled a little and he cuddled him close. "I think its nice that you like to please. Finally, I'll have a partner who's gorgeous as fuck and eager to please, on top of that partner loving me. Dave you're a goldmine." He kissed his forehead, smiling as he tried to make him smile.

He smiles a little, and glances up the tinniest bit. "I could do with praising you. I mean, it's just speaking my mind, not like I'd be forcing anything." He liked to give, and Eridan wanted to take. It was a perfect arrangement. Of course though, everything in balance.

He grins at the last bit, and looks up all the way to kiss him. "You're amazing, you know that? You should know that. I should tell you more often, actually."

"Just a little praise every now and then. S'all I ask for. Doesn't have to be too often of you're not up for it but the occasional word is nice." He kissed him back still smiling and his fins wiggling. "I am not. And I don't need praising now, sex is over already." He teased, kissing his forehead again. "I'm not amazing. I'm just rather good at appreciating and loving you."

Dave's not gonna lie, he secretly loves these intimate moments. "I want to make you the happiest person on this earth, and outer space. Other species on other planets can suck it if they think they're getting it as good as you are." He placed tender kisses along his neck, making pleased little Dave sounds.

"You make me feel like I'm worth more than a bad name and reputation." He said quietly, holding Dave close. The vulnerability alone made him nuzzle at his hair and press kisses there, feeling honoured to have been subjected to that.

It made him feel a little upset that Eridan thought that about himself, but he knew he was still dealing with some heavy shit. "You're worth absolutely everything, Eridan. Everything."

His natural instinct by now was to say "Not everything." But right now he felt like his throat had closed up from emotion, so he only managed a nod and held Dave as close as he could. He didn't deserve everything, but he felt like he deserved Dave's love at least, which was more than enough for him.

He fell into an easy sleep after that, feeling a bit lighter, and protected. He trusted that Eridan would do whatever he pleased while he was napping.

Eridan was perfectly content to just hold Dave close and stroke down his back. He ended up dozing a little himself, eyes closed and half asleep as he continued the lazy action a little sluggishly.

He woke up less than an hour after, though he didn't move. He did however grab a new blanket, and cover them with it, because fuck being cold.

Eridan was still half asleep, though more sleepy than he had been an hour earlier. He cuddled Dave closer as the blanket was tugged over them, sleepily nuzzling his hair.

Eridan was still sort of messed up from his lack of sleep, so when he did sleep he either slept for a long time or was awake again soon enough. He cuddled Dave closer, not even awake but starting to be.
