He nodded, stretching with a yawn before leaning close to the mirror to inspect his face. He still had the eyebags from hell, dammit. He sighed, and opened the cupboard to grab his make up. "I'll get that list for you then."

"Sweet, thanks babe." He soon gets off the shower, and grabs a towel to dry himself. He then shakes his head like a wet dog so that the water gets off his hair.

Eridan was applying the final touches under his eyes by the time Dave was done shaking himself like a dog. He turned his head this way and that, double checking everything before putting his stuff away and going to find the list.

Dave took his time just drying himself and humming a pseudo version of some mixed song, so it involved a lot of weird beatboxing.

He then went to their room to get some clothes on.

It was amusing to listen to, at least.

Eridan was rummaging through the drawers at his desk with just the towel around his waist, not having bothered to get dressed yet. He finally found it, and checked it over before handing it to Dave. "Just get stuff like this. Enough for a week and whatever else you want to eat."

Dave grabbed the list, having just finished pulling on some underwear. "Sweet, sounds pretty legit. As long as sandwiches are a thing, I'm good." He nods, putting it down again to get some shorts and a shirt on.

He yawned, stretching again and moving to grab some clothes. "After you finishing shopping remember to get clothes and stuff. And your camera." He pressed a kiss to his cheek, pulling on the first thing he grabbed. He still looked stylish, because it's Eridan.

Dave smiles a little, and holds him there for a second to nuzzle his cheek, and then grabbed his pair of shoes. "I never forget the camera, you should know me better than that."

"Just reminding you." He smiled and kissed his nose before letting him pull away. "I'll meet you at the marina? Or back here?" He located his shoes, pulling them on and grabbed the keys.

"I'll pack my clothes before I head to the marina so you can just worry about your own clothes. I still have some stuff on Sabriel anyway." He would probably grab Dave's jumper and his own swimmers more than anything else. It's not like he's gonna be wearing much else.

"No people, no class work, no pressing matters to take care of. Absolute bliss." He grinned, fins wiggling happily. He held Dave close for a bit, buzzling his jaw before giving him a gentle shove away. "Go on. We should go or we're never gonna get there."

Dave laughed a bit, and ended up nodding. "Yeah, alright I'm going." He smiles, and grabs his wallet before heading out. "Will you drop me at the grocery store? I'll walk to the marina when I'm done."

He nodded, grabbing his keys. "I'll come pick you up from the store as well. I dunno how many bags you'll have but it's further from the store to the marina than it is from here." He'll just come back and get his clothes after dropping Dave off.

Dave held his hand with a gentle grip, and covered his shoulder in kisses as they waited for the elevator.

Eridan was so, so glad they could be affectionate in public now. He still, occasionally got warning messages from Sollux saying he'll finish the job one day, he was just waiting for a slip up, and reports from (surprisingly) Kanaya on how Feferi was still keeping an eye on him. But he didn't care.

This was nice.

It had been established that Sollux could eat a dick, and that he's too scrawny and slow to win against Dave, so he wasn't scared in the least. And it also helped that Eridan was a perfect model of how to avoid trouble.

Once they got in, he only moved on to his neck, kissing it instead with a low hum.

Eridan tilted his head to the side a little, baring his neck for him. He squeezed his hand and ushered him into the elevator, smiling at him.

They were down at the car soon enough, and Eridan slid into the driver's seat after a peck to Dave's forehead.
