He only woke up in the morning, though before the alarm. He had slept enough for him to be fully rested before he even had to wake up, awesome.

Glancing up at Eridan, he smiled a little, seeing how peaceful he looked. And definitely asleep.

Eridan was flat out of it, even as Dave's alarm went off. His entire being was probably going to feel like utter hell the next few days, his body catching up on the rest it needs and his brain finally taking a break.

He hurried to turn off the alarm still, not wanting to wake him up. Dave ends up staying in bed with him, though turning around so that he could be on his phone, and not just creepily staring.

Eridan didn't wake up until nearly two hours after the alarm had gone off. His movements were all sluggish and practically weak as he cuddled close to Dave again, letting out a soft groan as he blinked his eyes open.

Dave glanced back, smiling a bit, and cuddling back against Eridan. "Morning, sleeping beauty." He mutters, putting his tetris game on pause.

Yes, Dave plays tetris.

He mumbled something unintelligible, nuzzling his hair. He pressed a soft, off centre kiss to his forehead, making a low noise in question. Probably about the time. Or in general, who knows.

Dave is the dork of the day.

"No idea of what you asked me, but you can go back to sleep if you want. We have time." No school for them for a week, or work, and he had already warned his coworkers that he'd be out for a week so that they could figure out their schedules.

"Sailin'?" Eridan nuzzled his neck, pressing a few sleepy kisses there. "Time?" He shifted close, slipping one leg between Dave's and cuddling close. He was still groggy from the sleeping tablet, not really mentally awake, but awake enough to move and have occasional trains of thought.

"Yes, we're going sailing." He smiles. "And it's around 9am, give or take a few minutes." He turned back around to face Eridan, putting his phone to the side, and cuddled him properly.

"Should go soon." He closed his eyes again, cuddling close. He'd shifted and curled around Dave enough that his face was tucked beside his neck. "Y' been 'wake long?"

"Take your time, we have a few more hours." He ran his fingers through Eridan's hair, nuzzling it. "Not too long, just a little while." Two hours, give or take. No biggie.

He nodded, pressing a few more lazy kisses to his neck. He was awake now, and probably wont go back to sleep again, but it was nice to just lay there. "Love you."

It was a bit surprising how not cold as fuck his hand was "I slept pretty well, the tea was really relaxing. That is my new favorite restaurant from now on. Right after burger king."

"Burger king's no'a res'rant." He yawned again, messing up his words as he nuzzled at his jaw. His hands had been under the covers and around Dave the entire night, so they were warmer than usual. He stroked lazily at his back, yawning.

"Is too. It's a restaurant, and it's my favourite one." He smiled a bit. "Y'know, if it werent for the whole fucking up your system thing, you could just not sleep for a month straight more often. Because you're like a huge cuddly cat that can't speak right now."

"No. I'm not a bloody bottom feeder." He nibbled at his neck a little, smiling slightly as he snuggled closer. "I'm a shark. Or maybe a lionfish, pretty but posionous."

"No, I attempted to eat ass. Wasn't too good at that, therefore not a bottom feeder." He nipped at his neck, grinning a little smugger at the shiver. "A pretty shark. I'm not cute." He nibbled at his neck again, grazing his teeth lightly.
