He'll let them all settle the bullshit first before he says his bit of him being only a once time murderer and not a copious time murderer. He wondered if Dave would rather let on they're dating before or after he tells his tale.

Vriska liked to rip up seadweller's gills, and Kanaya rocked up at the wrong moment. The only reason she didn't kill me is because I knocked both of them out and went home. Feferi of course decided I was being problematic and demanded I apologise to both of them."

John seems to be a bit more interested now. He apparently hasn't payed much thought to how Dave feels. "Eridan is not some psycho, he did what he did for a reason, so can we just stop? I'm going to be with him either way, and he's not going to kill me, just like Kanaya isn't going to kill you. I don't know about Vriska though, play it safe."

Rose pauses. "He makes a good point."

"Vriska won't kill anything that she finds interesting. Give it a few weeks and try again." He muttered, loking down at Bec. The dog looked like it was in the best doggy paradise and Eridan scratched behind his ear again.

"I killed that troll in self defense. I don't know what you were told by whoever was ordered to tell you, but it was me or him. He was a blueblood, six notches to his left horn and a hook to his right and he had poison on his blades. I killed him and didn't even know he was dead until hours later." He squeezed Dave's hand, looking tired. "I'm not going to kill Dave. I've, for one, got absolutely no reason to, and two, that would mean eradicating a source of entertainment and good coffee for me. Not to mention someone who actually likes me."
