Dave kept humming softly in his nice baritone, his breathing starting to slow down.

Eridan's grip on him loosened even more once he fell asleep, face slowly relaxing completely. He felt tired enough not to dream, but wasn't sure if that would ever stop dreams.

Dave eventually started snoozing too, but his sleep was light enough to be awoken if Eridan was dreaming

If he dreamt, he didn't remember it. He did, at one point, start twitching and curling a little as he clung to Dave, but eventually settled.

Dave woke up to that, but he settled pretty quickly, so he just dismissed it. He couldn't fall asleep again after that though

He hadn't been asleep for long after that when he shifted again. This time he wrapped his arms more firmly around Dave, expression shifting to one of discomfort and annoyance before relaxing again. He tucked his face to his hair, loosening his grip a little.

Dave kissed his forehead to try and sooth him, humming softly once more. He hoped the humming made his bad dream shift

He woke up soon after that, faintly hearing the humming and shifting to try and hear it better. He wasn't sure how long he'd slept, but merely stretched and cuddled Dave closer with a yawn.

Dave nuzzled his cheek, cuddling him back. He slep for a good while, even thought Dave wasnt aware.

Eridan hummed a little in question, blinking lazily at him as he stretched again. "H'lo."

"Hey there" he smiles a bit. "Sleep well?"

He nodded, even though he wasn't too sure at all. "I don't remember if I didn't." He nuzzled at his hair, purring a little. "Wasstime?"

"One sec." Dave reached for his phone, squinting his eyes at the brightness of the screen. "Umm... five thirty

He hummed softly in acknowledgement, closing his eyes again and cuddling close. "Did you sleep?"

"A little, yeah." He puts the phone away again, and kisses him between his eyes

"Did I wake you?" He was more awake now, and frowning a little. He yawned again, leaning against Dave.

He mumbled through another yawn, shifting Dave a little and curling up around him. "Love you. Don't wanna move."

He pet at his hair lazily, even though his coordination right now was still sleep addled and he ended up just stroking over his hair as he dozed off again.

Eridan had a pretty firm grip on Dave again, but he would still be able to move around and away.

Dave had his phone though, and Eridan was out like a light.

Dave snapped a quick pic of him sleeping, and kissed his head carefully, nearly in awe by the sight.
