Eridan had all the stuff ready for cooking by then. He'd put away the shopping and then spent the rest of that time sitting in front of the fish tank watching the little happy seahorse swim around and around.

He shrugs a bit and walks in. "I'm not too good with arguments and crap, just... it felt better when you were there. But she got more receptive when you left, so I guess that fuck this guy in particular." He points at himself.

"Just what's been going on between us. I told her about the trip, showed her the photos, told her some of the stuff we've been doing together. Seems like 'pink fish', as she put it, is just saying shit about you without any sort of reason, unlike Kanaya."

He hugs him back without hesitating. "No, Eridan, it's alright. I get it. I'm just really not good at confrontation and I ended up yelling at one point." He mutters.

"Yeah, most likely. I can respect Kanaya's intentions, really. But Jade saw you make me pretty happy, so she's more than willing to try to talk to you. Also she's bringing her dog on saturday as a peace offer. Her words, not mine."

Dave nuzzled his chest, letting his eyes close. Really, Dave's first thought when an argument came up was to flee the scene, but at the same time he was aware that he had to face his problems, otherwise he'd be a little bitch, so it was a complicated dilemma. "She wasn't that mad after the first... fifteen minutes. She stayed there for like an hour. I think she felt really guilty though."

"It's a huge, white dog. It's not a pure breed though. And yes, the intent is for you to pet it as much as you like." He smiled a bit. "One down, two to go I guess."
