His eyes went from bright green to inky black, as if sucking it out of the air around him. He went limp on the couch, staring blankly into space, hair still staticy, but no longer a thundercloud. He sat like this for five minutes while Madison watched him apprehensively and tried to make Cale's throat stop bleeding. Eventually, he sighed and lowered his head for Cale to feed. He hadn't been doing that enough anyway, so without it he probably wouldn't heal right. No great loss, but without him Zane would freak out, after he...did....whatever this was.
Zane wrapped his head in his entire arms, expression turning to deep, deep regret, and he curled into a tight ball as he started to sob. When he realized Madison was still watching him, he threw himself to his feet and ran to lock himself in the bathroom. He didn't come out for the next several hours.

Quickly, Ivory ran back to Lance's car, and hid in it. Oh God. She fucked up. She really fucked up. Badly. She kept herself there, crying, trembling, screaming at herself, until she eventually passed out from her own exhaustion. A much needed sleep. She wanted to be anywhere except here right now. Facing everyone right now was too much for her.
Lance found her a bit later, after everyone had went home. After Cale informed him what went down. He...in all honesty...didn't want to look at her right now, but he didn't have a choice. He just needed to get her home. Carefully, he drove her home, dropping off Zane's stuff at Cale's apartment first. Once back at his own place, he placed Ivory in her bed, and shut the door. Please, just stay there for a while.

A funeral was held for Terezi's parents. Of course, Ivory didn't go. That would be adding salt to the wound. She knew that. Just...let them all be. It would be for the best. At least...she didn't hurt Ren too much. At least. She hoped so. Well...she had to return the knife too. With a hood over her head, she knocked on Ren's apartment too. It looked like next door was where the wake was happening. It's best to avoid that.

The door didn't open. Of course, that didn't really matter. It hadn't been locked since she'd paid them a 'visit' several days back.
The abyss had held them for an hour or more, though it felt like an eternity, before it was replaced by a sudden, burning agony. This also felt more like an eternity than the five or so minutes it actually was, and when they awoke in a puddle of their own blood, they were absolutely terrified. This hadn't changed all week, and the day when that thing in the corner what was that thing it wouldn't stop /yelling/, they'd cowered behind the chair and watched it fearfully until it stopped, only to have the noise start up again. Then they'd killed it. That had been days ago.

She heard something inside, but no one answered. "...Ren?" She quietly asked, before opening opening the door and stepping inside that apartment.

There were a lot of broken things. And that wasn't even counting the inhabitant. The blood on the floor still remained, dark and dry. A few broken glasses lay scattered about, from when they'd tried to quench their thirst to maddening results. A throw pillow from one of the chairs was shredded and spread across the floor, mostly over the stain. Ren themselves were nowhere to be seen.

Ivory shut the door behind her and looked around, setting the blade on the counter as she walked in. She stepped on some glass on the floor, not realizing it was there until she heard it crack more. "...Ren." She called out once more,

There was a clanging noise, and bright blue eyes peered out from the kitchen, a frying pan protruding along with them. They cried out, a half-screaming strangled sound, and disappeared again.

With a jolt, Ivory stumbled backwards. No. Now was not the time to play jump scare with her. Once she regained her composure, she moved once more. Towards were she last saw them.

Upon hearing her approaching footsteps, they charged out again, swinging the frying pan, eyes squeezed shut to keep in tears. "STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!!"

She backed up once more until her backside hit the counter. Ivory put her hands up in surrender. "I'm not...I'm not here to hurt you."

🌀
They shrank back, in on themselves, holding the frying pan up between their face and her. "You are you are you hurt me it hurt /so much/ I don't understand, why did you do this to me, why, WHY, WHY, /WHY/????!!!!!" they screamed, throwing the pan as hard as they could.

She flinched, shutting her eyes at the yelling. What did she do to them? All she remembered was feeding off them. Without their explicit consent. "What are you talking about?" She weakly asked.

The pan hit the wall behind her, cracking through the plaster and bringing up a cloud of dust. They were sobbing now instead of screaming, hands shaking. "I-IvorY, i'M So sCaREd, and so /HuNGRY/, I dOn'T waNt to BE THis wAY, wHy DId yoU mAKe me like tHiS, I don't, don't, don't, i don't....." Their fangs showed through their whimpering mouth as they buried their hands in their hair and huddled over.

She flinched once more when the pan hit. At that moment, she saw the fangs. Did she... She let out a forced laugh. "Haha, very funny Ren. You can stop now" This was all a joke right? Right? Ahaha..haha..ha... Oh God Ren stop right now this wasn't funny at all.

They didn't stop. They didn't stop crying. "Stop /laughing/, stop it, I hate you, I HATE YOU!"

Her hands went to her pockets. She looked to the floor. Tears pricked her eyes. "Ren...it's not funny anymore. You can stop now." Oh God. They were serious, weren't they?
2015-10-08 06:14:23 -

They fell to their knees, clutching their head. Why wouldn't she believe them?! She thought it was funny! FUNNY! IT'S NOT FUNNY! IT'S NOT FUNNY IVORY DIE DIE GO DIE THEY HATE YOU!

She heard them. She heard their thoughts. Oh God. She did it. She really did it. Ivory trembled. A hand went to her mouth. Her hand. It was the only thing keeping her from breaking down right there. It was all her fault. They had every reason to hater her. Sorry was't going to fix this. Nothing would.

...they were........so scared..............they were so tired. But they hadn't been able to sleep. Not at all. Now they were exhausted, and angry, and crying, and wished she would just /go away/, they wanted to be normal again, please, please, just, human, please.....

She moved, almost tripping over objects as she walked backwards to the door. Quickly, she slipped out of the apartment. Before she fucked up even more. Before she did something worse. She's sorry. She's so sorry. It was her fault. All of this was her fault. Everyone was hurting because of her. She barely made it back to her shop before she broke down in the middle of its floor, crying, and trembling.

.....I returned from the wake with red eyes. Not to the apartment, of course. I wish I'd been able to help them more. To comfort Terezi and Anndrea the way they needed, but I just....couldn't. Worthless. I went to the shop instead. Somewhere I might, ironically, have a bit of privacy. I walked separate from everyone else and returned first, pushing the door -- ........no. No, no, no, oh, God, a panic attack came on. I stood there shuddering until I finally managed to regain control of my limbs enough to back away and /run/.

Tassek stood by the coffin, holding Terezi close while she cried. No, he didn't care what Seculus was messing up right now, or anyone else for that matter. This was all....horrible. Poor Terezi. Her poor parents. His own mother, dressed in black, came over to him. He'd never been so thankful....until she mentioned that his twenty-first birthday was coming up. What about it? he'd asked. That meant it was almost time. Almost time for him to join the family business. Wait. No. He didn't want to do that. He had to stay with Terezi. He had absolutely no interest in hunting vampires, and he'd probably terrible at it anyway. There was only one real solution, but he would never ask her about it right now. She'd already been through too much, if he did that, he wouldn't blame her in the slightest if she just walked away. But later. Because he had to, or he'd have to leave her.

Anndrea had did her best to comfort Terezi, but she kept her distance. Her wings would be too much of a reminder of her mother, and she had yet to learn how to bring them back in. Oh well. She would learn.eventually
Anndrea kept mostly to herself, and Seculus while he was there. He left early. She didn't blame him, in all honesty. He had been through a lot. A lot more than anyone else had. He needed his space.
However, through the people, she sensed a devil. One more than necessary. Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a flash of dishwater blond hair. Anndrea exited the room, and followed it...to the roof.
There Anndrea locked eyes with a pair of deep purple ones, She had seen that face before. So many times. In so many memories.
"Scyleia?" She asked. "What are you doing here."
"I've come here for you." She spoke firmly, determination in her voice. "I've been waiting for the perfect time to come, Anaea. I've been saving up since the day I got out. We can start our lives together again.I have a job. You have a job. I got your address from the bakery you work at to come here."
Anndrea furrowed her eyebrows. "I am not going with you. I am already in another relationship."
"Hmm." Scyleia hummed. "You don't remember yet." It seemed like she more so speaking to herself. "...They tell me I can make you remember."
Scyleia rushed forward, and grabbed Anndrea by the shoulders, and smashed her lips against the other woman's. Deeply. Forcefully. Without a second thought.
Anaea stood in front of a priestess, hands entwined with Scyleia's. They faced each other for a moment, before the two of them were handed matching flower necklaces, made with pure silver. There were three flowers, three along the chain, three hung below them. A pearl dangled at the end of them . They faced each other once more, holding the necklaces in front of each other.
"Scyleia." The priestess spoke. "Έχετε επιλέξει να αγαπάμε ο ηγέτης μας , σαν να ήταν δική σας Θεά ? ('Do you choose to cherish our leader as if she was your own Goddess? ')
Scyleia reached over and placed the necklace on Anaea's neck, clasping it. "Δέχομαι." ('I do')
The priestess looked to Anaea now. "Anaea." She stated. "Έχετε επιλέξει να αγαπάμε το δεύτερο στην ιεραρχία μας σαν να ήταν Θεά σας." ('Do you choose to cherish our second in command as if she your were Goddess?')
Anaea did the same as Scyleia once did. ""Δέχομαι."
"Με το όνομα της θεάς Ήρας η ίδια , είστε δύο είναι τώρα παντρεμένος . Μπορείς να φιλήσεις ." ('By the name of the Godess Hera herself, you are two are now wedded. You may kiss.') The priestess declared.
The two kissed. Happily, tears running down Scyleia's face from joy.
The memory ended, and Anndrea gasped.
This wasn't just any old lover.
This was her wife.
Her Goddess bound wife.
Oh no...what should she do? She couldn't leave Seculus, but at the same time. Sceylia was her /wife./
She had to have some time on her own to figure this out. On her own.
Without a relationship to hold her back.
"Now do you remember?" Sceylia asked once she pulled away.
Anndrea nodded. She couldn't lie.
"Perfect, my beautiful goddess."

Anndrea didn't sleep that night. She spend the night crying. She didn't want to do this, but she had to. For Seculus's sake and hers. It was better this way. With reddened eyes, she knocked on the apartment door. Tassek shouldn't be home yet, right? It was best to do it without him around.
