"I have food." He shoved him gently when he blew at his hair, rolling his eyes and nudging him in the ribs as he reached past.
If anything, the salt water only made the violet look brighter. It was natural, not dye as opposed to what many thought. His entire line had it, and in the deep deep black of oceans it glowed with his bioluminescence. This wasn't known to anyone though, since Eridan thought it was completely stupid and just let them make the assumption that it was dyed."

Dave was still pretty convinced it was hair dye, because no one is born with violet hair. Supposedly.
"What kind of food? He whined as he was nudged, and poked his ribs as he stood next to him, far from his gills so that it wouldn't hurt him.

"The edible kind." He just bumped him out of the way with his hip, opening up cupboards and pulling down some chips. "You're the one with the sandwiches. I have some chicken left though."

Dave rolled his eyes at the answer, smiling slightly, and fetching the sandwiches from a cupboard. He still had four. "Chiken and sandwiches sound like a good combo."

"Chicken an' sandwiches are always a good combo." He set the chips out on the table for now, going to the fridge to pull out what was left of the chicken and put it out also.

"How about a sandwich with chicken and chips?" He put two sandwiches to the side for now, opening his so that he could add to it
2015-07-31 13:58:29 -
🌀
"Sounds good." He reached for one of the sandwiches, opening it so he could add chicken to it. He didn't really like chips on a sandwich, but he just preferred to eat them separate.

He added both the chicken and he chips to his sandwich, squeezing it a little to make it more stable, And taking a bite.

Eridan settled himself on the couch as he ate, not really wanting to go back up the stairs right now. He held his sandwich with one hand, looking at his injured hand with a slight frown as he chewed.

He stood as he ate, not wanting to sit down. The munching was pretty noticeable, because of the chips, but he tried to not let anything fall.

🌀
Eridan finished off his sandwich pretty quickly, stretching to grab the first aid kit and hold it on his lap. He glanced up at Dave a few times, raising an eyebrow at his almost obnoxiously loud chewing. He knew it was just the chips but still.

Dave glanced over when he got the first aid kit. He didn't offer to help, pretty curious about how he'd manage.

Eridan set about using the same goopy paste he'd used earlier that day, spreading it over the bite marks and only make a face of mild discomfort at it. It stung like all hell, but no need for a facial expression for it. One of the toothmarks on his palm looked slightly puffy, and he pulled out the tweezers after he'd checked it out. He glanced up before he made to pull the bits of sand or whatever was trapped under the skin out. "You alright with me doing this? I'd rather not have you puke all over my clean floors." He teased.

"I'm pretty okay, seen worse, done worse." He shrugs, continuing to munch on his sandwich obnoxiously with a smirk. He still wanted to see how well he'd do with his dominant hand hurt.

Eridan stuck his tongue out briefly, before going back to looking at his hand. He resettled his hand against his thigh, elbow tucked close to keep his arm stable before he started to pick out the bits of shit in his hand. They didn't look like they'd caused too much damage, just keeping it from healing right. Blood started seeping from the bite mark once he'd gotten most of it out, and he used anti-bacterial wipes to wipe away the rest of it, seeing as that was easily removable. He reached for the bandage next, gnawing on his bottom lip as the throbbing in his hand peaked and subsiding constantly.

He eventually got closer to check his work, and make sure he got everything out, nodding to himself. "Need help with the bandages there?"
2015-07-31 14:33:35 -
🌀
He shook his head, using his thumb to massage at the spot he was just working on before putting more antiseptic paste on and starting to wrap the bandage carefully up his wrist and around his hand.

Finishing eating, he wipes his hands to his swimming trunks, to get rid of crumbs and salt. "It's getting wrinkled, hold on." He reached to straighten up the bandages, but let him do the rest
2015-07-31 21:19:03 -
🌀
Eridan kept his hand still as he adjusted the bandages, only twitching a bit when the action caused the bandage to press against the wounds a bit tighter. He finished up bandaging his hand, checking the bandage all over before looking up.

"Alright, looks good to me. I'm no doctor, but you'll live." He teased. "Ready to get this show on water?"
2015-07-31 21:26:28 -
🌀
"If I die I'm blaming it on you." He grinned and nudged him, standing up and putting the first aid kit away. He flicked a few switches on the switchboard, before quickly putting the food away. "Not really. I wanna stay here forever, but alas, we can't."
2015-07-31 21:32:12 -

He laughs softly, stepping back to let him walk around. "We can play cards while we're doing nothing, its not that bad. But you can come hang out at my place later or some shit. Maybe the other way around, because smuppets and swords."
2015-07-31 21:35:17 -
🌀
"That an' because you've got a leaking drain that makes weird noises an' I'm like ninety percent sure your brother would love a chance to poke a sword at me." He rolled his eyes and moved to head up the stairs, and then to the front to wind the anchor up.
2015-07-31 21:37:04 -
●
"He'd only poke you with a sword if you did some shit." He shrugs, following him. "But yeah. Sound proof walls and seahorses sound much better." He nudges as he steps on the cockpit
2015-07-31 21:39:36 -
🌀
He snickered and crouched to haul the anchor up. The water below them was practically crystal clear and he so did not want to go. Ah well, there was always next time.
He headed back to Dave, looking over at the water before stepping into the cockpit and starting the engine.
