He just waved a hand lazily at himself, blinking slowly. "Seadweller equals not cold unless standing in rain for extended periods of time. I don't actually know how it works to be honest." He didn't object to having the blanket thrown over him. In fact he snuggled a bit into it, drawing his feet up so they were partly under it as well.

"Thats some super hero bullshit right there. Its impossible for you not to freeze your balls off-... your...bulge off? Im gonna go with that." He nudged him a bit with his shoulder, the blanket being warm still.

"I get cold in snow and when it rains. I don't get cold in chilly winds or temperatures. I honestly don't know Dave, I didn't study biology." He nudged him back, shifting a bit to resume his comfortable position before relaxing again. It was nice like this, with the blanket still being warm from wrapped around Dave.

He decided to shut up after he said that, laughing softly and going back to looking at fossil light. He made sure to give him half of the blanket, or what it looked like half, but he still had to be nearly snuggled up to him for the cold not to get in his bones. It warmed up though. As Eridan got warmer, so did he.

He too looked back up at the stars, watching them quietly and slowly seeking out all the constellations he could see.

Lack of sleep was finally catching up to him properly, however. After a few minutes he was practically nodding off, trying to keep still so as not to notify Dave that he was falling asleep. Before long his eyes were closed and his head was tilted towards Dave a bit and down, asleep.

Dave was tired, there was no denying, but he could still control himself, not wanting to koala around him again or make Eridan carry him to bed. However, he was surprised when he was the first to fall asleep.

He blinked, looking down at him to check if he was indeed asleep, and smiled softly, looking at his relaxed expression. Maybe he could close his eyes too... yeah, maybe he could just sleep too.

He'd slumped closer to him now that he was asleep, forehead resting against his arm as he completely relaxed in sleep. He looked a lot calmer when he was asleep, less stressed even though he hadn't really been looking that at all since the trip started.

Dave was resting his cheek on his shoulder, so he nearly had a face-full of Eridan's hair.

He slowly turned on his side in his sleep, curling up against the other, though Eridan was the one nearly pressed against Dave's chest because of how he moved

Eridan merely shifted accordingly, squirming a bit in his sleep until he'd slumped over and moved until he was practically lying against Dave. His cheek was resting against his chest, below his collarbones and had a hand loosely holding the blanket closer to himself.

He took a while longer before he moved again, but after an hour or so, he had his arms looped around him, his head tilting down, his cheek now resting on top of Eridan's head.

He sure did sleep in the most uncomfortable looking positions.

Eridan woke up briefly a while after Dave had shifted again, eyes squiting open blearily. All he did was remove his glasses and stretch to put them by their left over food. He absently put the lid on the pringles, since it was still close enough in his reach for him to do so, before cuddling back up to Dave and dropping back off into sleep.

Dave was already pretty deep into his sleep, not even flinching.

A few hours later, and Dave only really seemed to make the hug a bit more firm, though not tight, too out of it to do anything else

Eridan was out like a light. It was all Dave's bad influence that was fucking with his sleeping patterns and making him sleep longer. That's it. That's all it.

The only reason he started stirring was because the sun had come up and was just at the position in the sky that it was shining directly on them. And even then all he did was groan and try to bury his way deeper into what he thought was a blanket, but was indeed Dave's chest.

He was facing the other way, so he didnt really feel the sunlight, but he sure did feel the thing under his cheek trying to drill a hole into his chest.

He grumbled, nuzzling his hair, lucky enough to miss his horns, and tugged the falling blanket over his shoulders, wrapping it back around him once he was warm again.

Eridan just whined at him and groped around for the edge of the blanket. His fingers skittered over Dave's arm before finding the edge of the blanket, which he promptly pulled right over his head and pressed his face against his chest in an attempt to hide from the sun.

His brow furrowed as he suddenly had a blanket over his head, but it was still covering his shoulders, so who gave a shit. The wind must have been strong as shit to make it do that though.

He turned his head to the other side, nuzzling his hair again, thinking about how fuzzy that blanket was.

Eridan settled down again, mumbling and grumbling a bit as he resettled. His arm was across Dave's waist, his other hand half curled between them as he shuffled closer to the warmth and pressed his face against his chest again. He wasn't awake enough to do anything other then yawn and try to go back to sleep.

Dave wasnt going to be the one to change that either, still sleepy and tired, and definitely too warm to move. Whatever it was he was using as a pillow was soft and warm.

He made the hug tighter, but not uncomfortably so, just enough so that his hands were resting on his skin, and quickly fell back asleep

Eridan huffed a bit when he was hugged tighter, shifting slightly until he was more comfortable against Dave's chest.

He was asleep again, although not as deep as earlier, pretty quickly, breathing spft and even.

The blanket bought him a hour and half of sleep, but thats about it, and when he woke up, the first thing he did wad push it off him with a grumble, and take in a deep breath of fresh air, eyes closed still.

Eridan socked him one right in the hip when he was shoved away, managing to land it before he rolled off the edge of the bench with a yelp. He groaned when he hit the floor, hand going to his horn with a low whine. That hurt. And now he was awake, ow.

"You're an asshole, go away." He just rolled up, curling up into a ball and reaching up to drag the rest of the blanket down around him. "S'all your fault. Fucking... Careful what you shove away, i was happily sleeping. Actually sleeping."

Dave grins, reaching down to grab him, carrying him in his arms as he moves to go to Eridan's cabin, still laughing. "Well shit, you were suffocating me, something had to go."

"Hey!" He flailed when he was picked up, grabbing a hold of him tightly when they made their way inside. "It's your fault! I was fine where I was you were the one moving around. You make a shitty pillow."
