Eridan didn't feel like going back to sleep, but he also didn't feel like moving, so he simply stayed there, and ended up scrolling through the photos on his phone.

The kitty decides to wake up at around 3am, and just paws her way to Eridan, putting a paw on the bright screen with a small mewl to get his attention

Eridan smiles at her, and figuring that she probably needs to go potty, inches his way away from Dave while scooping the kitten close to his chest and heading for the bathroom and the litter box.

Eridan followed after her, just to make sure that she didn't chew on any wires or anything like that. He didn't want her getting hurt after all.

She went to the kitchen, drinking some water from her bowl, and then climbed up a chair. She looked like she didn't know how to get down, so she just kept going, climbing up on the table, and sniffing the fruit inside the bowl.

Eridan followed her, a small smile of amusement as he watched her sniff around and scramble all over stuff. When she got up on the table, he moved to sit at one of the chairs, resting his chin in his hands and watching her.

For some reason she decied that the fruit was comfortable, so she climbed in, nestling herself between a couple of apples and bananas.

He couldn't resist and just had to take a photo of how cute she was being, which he did so, because he could.

She apparently just fell asleep between the fruit, her little head propped up on a banana.

Eridan would 'aw' if he thought it wouldn't wake the kitten, or Dave. For the most part, he simply propped his chin up in his hand again and went back to scrolling/playing through the various apps on his phone.

The kitten stayed there for a while longer, but when 6am came around, she clumsily made her way out of The bowl, and rubbed up against his and for pets.

He of course gave them to her, scratching her gently behind the ears and scooping her close for a hug as he pressed a kiss to the top of her head.

Eridan cooed at her, nuzzling her little head before standing and heading to the kitchen and placing her in front of her bowl. He filled it up again, because it was pretty much empty.

Eridan rolled his eyes, but decided he'll give her a bath later. He wondered whether Sollux was going to rock up today, and when, because if Dave's going to Jade's then he'll be alone with him. Maybe he'll go to the aquarium with him, so that he can't do anything insane.
