Eridan woke up while Dave was taking photos, and so some of the photos were of Eridan being flat out asleep and the others being him with a sleepy look on his face as he squinted up at the camera. "Wha' y' doin'?"

He frowned up at him, looking about as skeptical as a still-somewhat sleep person can feel. He reaches up to him with one grabby hand, the other still holding the sleeping kitten close. "C'mere. Lie down with me. Take selfies if you have to but let me sleep on you."

Dave didn't have the heart to say no to that, so he just nestled close to him with a smile, and kissed his forehead, careful not to squish the kitten. "Sleep." He mumbled.

Eridan held the kitten up so that he could curl up against Dave with his head on his shoulder. He placed the kitten on his chest so Dave couldn't move away without disrupting her either.

Dave puts the phone away, and nuzzles his hair with a sigh of content before he closed his eyes. Hr isn't tired, but it's always a good time for naps

Eridan was pretty content just sleeping away, and when he woke up it was dark outside and the kitten was meowing insistently in his fins. He sighed, getting up and instantly screwing up his nose. Apparently, the kitten didn't remember where he'd put the litter box.

Once he'd cleaned that up (ew gross ugh), he set out her food and put the kettle on, yawning.

Dave stayed asleep through that, thank god, and just woke up a couple of minutes later when j started missing the warmth.

He then got up, stretching, and going to find Eridan.

Eridan was leaning against the kitchen counter, scrubbing sleep from his eyes and yawning wide enough to show his tonsil while the kitten pigged out on smelly cat food.

He went to hug Eridan, though he made sure he was seen before he did so that Eridan didnt get scared. "Hey."

He smiled at him, kissing his forehead. "Hey yourself. Did I wake you?" He didn't know what time it was, and wondered why he was so sleepy. He'd only missed a couple days last week of sleep, and when he's been with Dave he's been sleeping a lot, so he shouldn't be this sleepy... Maybe he's getting sick? He has no clue.

He shrugs, nuzzling his chest. "Doesn't matter. Did you sleep well?"

He then glanced at the kitten, and smiled a little. Cute.

He shrugged right back, resting his cheek on his head. "Yeah, I guess. How many photos did you end up taking?" He vaguely remembered that being a thing.

"You'd litter your phone with dumb pictures of me? I'm honoured. And slightly embarrassed. At least have photos where I look good and not like a complete fool." He grinned, looping his arms around his waist.

He cups his cheeks to press a ton of kisses to his face, making a disapproving sound. "I'd fill my phone with pictures of you if that didn't sound stalker-ish and if it didn't take up too much room for me to have games here. You're gorgeous."

"You're a dork." He smiled at him, fins wiggling a little at him. The kitten had finished eating and had walked over the counter to butt at his arm. "C'mon. Bed." He kissed his forehead and took him by the hand, scooping up the kitten in his other as he started walking off.

Now that's something he can agree with. Bed sounds great. Once he's in bed, he holds his arms out for Eridan to cuddle up against him.

Eridan curls up against him pretty happily once they're lying in bed, but then the kitten shucks his chest for Dave's to sleep on, and wow rude. He doesn't mind to much in his sleepy state however, and simply cuddles up to Dave.

Dave smiles, placing the gentlest of kisses on the kitten's head before he closed his eyes again. He fell asleep nearly right away, way too sleepy to stay awake for long.

He finds that he's not really sleepy enough to fall asleep quickly. It's the sort of sleepy where your body is tired, but the mind is now awake. He sighed, tucked closed to Dave, and saw his phone light up with a notification on the bedside table. He managed to reach over and get it without disturbing Dave.
