Sollux flicked him right back, shifting a little and knocking his horns against his chin. "I bet you'd let him wear them." He lifted the shades up again, but didn't put them on, just turned them backwards and stuck them on top of Dave's head.

He laughed softly, grabbing his shades before something bad happens. "Eridan, youre adorable."

"It's your opinion against thousands of others. I don't think many will change their minds, Dave." Still his whole expression softened a little as he smiled at him.

Sollux was a little surprised at that, because it made him look almost... kind, gentle. Like the Eridan he'd seen a few times when he was having a horrid migraine and Eridan was there for him.

Eridan tried to pay attention to the water, because they were coming up to the marina now. He gave in to kissing Dave though, lookimg rather content as he kissed him back. He pulled away soon enough, mumbling a "later, let me get us in the marina safely you dummy".

He smiles at him, satisfied, and loosely wraps his arms around Sollux again. "Alright, there'll be plenty of time."

Sollux elbowed Dave in the gut, focused again on his reading.

It didn't take long for them to enter the marina then, and Eridan carefully maneuvered Sabriel into the berth. He jumped down on the dock to secure the lines, before climbing back on to turn off the engine.

Once they were safely anchored, Dave got out, shades on. "I'll see you later, alright?"

Sollux already had his shit by then and was waiting to walk off with Dave. "I can give you a ride back if you want?"

As he started walking with Sollux, he nodded again. "Sure."

Eridan ducked back inside Sabriel then to start cleaning up.

Sollux was quiet as they walked out of the marina and to his car, and once they were in he asked, "Are you sure you'd want me to try and get in that red bullshit you've got going with him?"
