"Aw thanks Dave." He grinned, not caring for now that sand was getting absolutely all over himself and in his hair. "We can have dinner out here tonight if you'd like. I've got some chicken an' buns that I was planning on eating an' we can have a fire on the beach here. We'll be able to see the /stars/!" He sounded even excited about that.

"Oh boy, you sure do know how to treat a gal. I'm in for a romantic dinner under the stars." He laughed a bit more, though yeah, his camera was coming if there was a promise of stars. "And I sure hope you have something to make a fire, or know how to make one, because I am a city boy. Except for that one time Bro forced me to help a farmer to get more "resistant to the sun"."

"That's exactly what I'm doing. Wooing your ass to make sure I still get dibs on your entrails when you cark it." He laughed again, pushing himself to sit up and look at Dave.

"Of course I know how to make a fire. I found it all very interesting, survival shit, so i made sure I know a whole heap of stuff, which is really only obvious common sense stuff after you think about." He shrugged. "Plus I found that a little bit of petrol helped if a fire won't start." Another shark like grin as he dug his hand through the sand.

"My buttocks finds themselves to be quite wooed. Your master-mind plan is working." He smiles, letting himself kneel on the sand, as the waves were pushing him forwards.

"Well I don't know what I was expecting, but you can't go wrong with petrol." He nodded, smirking again. He set the goggles on the top of his head combing some of his hair back. He figured he might as well enjoy himself, rather than avoid his gaze 24/7. For all he knew, he wasn't even paying attention to his eyes. He found himself looking at Eridan's violet lock of hair though, not realizing that without the shades he couldn't stare at things, really liking how it looked when it was underwater.

It really was an interesting eye colour. Vibrant, bright, and just. Red. Really red. Even though it was considered off spectrum, scary colour, Eridan frankly thought it was quite pretty.

He blinked himself out of his thoughts, tilting his head and combing his hair out if his eye as he moved closer. "Hm?"

When he was close enough, he placed his hands on his shoulders and pushed him into the water, laughing a bit harder than usual, even though he realized he could breathe underwater.

"Bastard." He was grinning though, shaking his head hard to fling the water everywhere. He grinned at Dave, gaze going almost menacing as he lunged forward and caught him around his waist, hauling him up over his shoulder. "Well I can tell you I just saved a nerd from drowning, so that could be the nerd you think you found?" He laughed, bouncing a bit on the balls of his feet to jostle Dave on his shoulder.

He nearly yelped at how easily he was picked up, not knowing what was the last time anyone picked him up. It was usually the other way around. Needless to say he clung to him around his waist in fear of the unknown. "Fucking shitballs put me down!" He said hurriedly, though he was laughing, and grinning against his back.

"I'm sorry what? I can't hear you Dave!" He laughed again, spinning around and holding onto Dave securely even as he lent backwards to nearly dunk his head in the water. "There's something squeaking at me, I can't quite hear what you're saying!" He laughed again, giving him a seconds warning as he plunged into chest height water and promptly dumped Dave into the sea.

"I said put me the hell down, holy fuck, don't be a dickbag!" He grins, laughing as his head was nearly dunked in water, clinging tighter to Eridan and pressing his cheek against his back to be absolutely sure that wouldn't happen.

When he was dumped into the water, he took a while to compose himself, smiling wide, and nudging Eridan backwards a little. "I swear to god, it's been years since i've been above ground level"

"If you'd like to see the sky a bit closer I can pick you up again." He made as though to do exactly that, laughing even as he splashed through the water.

"You're the biggest bag of dicks on this side of town." He stuck out his tongue, splashing him with more water.

"Oh fuck no you don't! I'm fine, please and thank you!" he backed up a bit, into a section where the water was lower, his cheeks starting to hurt again from grinning so hard. However, when he saw he wasn't gonna do it, he tried to dunk him into the water by throwing himself at him, holding him by the waist as he did, grinning, pretty proud of himself for being able to actually knock him down. Maybe he allowed it though.

Eridan nearly howled with laughter as Dave threw them both into the water. His laughter turning bubbly under the water as he kicked and squirmed under him. He came up gasping for any sort of breathing, hands on his knees as he laughed. "Oh so I'm the dick bag when you pull shitty moves like that? That's low Dave. Real low." He shook his head, laughing. He hadn't expected Dave to go for him, giving him a chance to actually dunk him in the water. "C'mere you bastard." He lunged for Dave this time, trying to get him around the middle to lift him up again.

"Fuck! Fuck, dude c'mon!" Before he could do anything about it though, he got him, and he just tried to stay upright instead of being carried around like a sack of potatoes, hands on his shoulders as he squirmed a little, pretty happy.

With Dave squirming as he was it was a bit difficult to carry him as he did before. He was laughing as he did, even so, resting his head against Dave's chest as he tried to twist him over enough to carry him. "Stop being an arse!" He head butted him gently in the chest, managing to get Dave over his shoulder enough, even if it meant flailing feet by his head. "Oi! Careful!" He laughed loud, head turned enough to look at him.

"You wouldn't dare." Eridan growled, playfully at least. He hoisted Dave up further, flipping him almost so that his head was now level with Eridan's chest as opposed to his back. "I will put you on the tiring duty of picking barnacles of the keel." He grinned at him, leaning over enough so Dave's hair was touching the water. "What do you say, Mr Strider?"

Once he was flipped, he smiled, more content, but laughed as he growled at the probably empty threat. Probably. "You heard me Ampora, I will give you the wedgy of youre life if you do not let me down."

Using the fact that Eridan was pretty strong and was holding onto his legs, he used them as leverage to sit up on his shoulder, ruffing Eridan's hair as a bit of revenge.

Eridan just huffed at him, grinning. "Alright then Dave, as you wish." He turned and waded out further, keeping a hold of Dave's legs to make sure he stayed put as he moved into a bit deeper waters before dropping him back in. It was still at a stand-able height for both of them. He shook his head at him when he resurfaced, grinning. "So cruel of you, making minuscule threats in my presence." Another laugh and he splashed him.

"Oh fuck me, what are you gonna do now." He asks as he heads for deeper water, but as he realizes, he ruffles Eridan's hair twice as fast, trying to get it all weird before he went down with a 'splash'. A big one at that, but he was still grinning and laughing happily all the way.

"Didn't it work though? I'm down." He teased, splashing him back. He took the glasses off his head, and kept them in his other pocket, smiling.

His hair was a wayward mess of curls now, and he didn't seem to realise as he grinned at Dave. With all obstruction away from Dave's face, and with them both standing face to face now he could clearly see the red.

He rolled his eyes at Dave, huffing at him again and kicking water in his general direction. A great feat, seeing as how deep they were standing.

He grinned at the way his hair was curling, finding it pretty endearing, though he didn't want to mention it just yet.

"I literally just took off the goggleeeeeeees." He whines, starting to float on his back, looking upside down at him, eyes wide open. He swims a little closer and bumps his head against his chest on purpose. "We have time to go find sharks later."

"Lazy." He grinned down at him, reaching to bop him on the nose. He was smiling even as he knelt to slip under the water himself before resurfacing to float on his back himself. The sun was close to setting now, turning the sky a beautiful pink blue orange.

"I love it out here." He said quickly, looking up. "It's peaceful, calm. I can slow down here."

"Not lazy, you could have just said it earlier. Now I'd have to like... get them... and put them on... ugh I'm getting tired just thinking about it honestly." He smiled wide, laughing softly when his nose is booped.

Once Eridan was out of sight, he looked at the sky, as Eridan had been covering the view, and his wide smile fades into a softer one. A genuine, yet more relaxed smile.

"We have to come here more often, I don't think 3 days will cut it for me."
