He smiles a little wider, one of his hands going to the back of Eridan's neck to keep him there and deepen the kiss. He liked kissing Eridan. He was so gentle and caring, and now he could really appreciate that. He supposed what they say about not knowing what you have its true.

Eridan sttled his hands on Dave's waist, holding him close as they kissed. Kissing Dave was a nice pasttime, especially the little sweet kisses. Those were his favourite.

Dave took his sweet time, pulling Eridan a little so that they'd be closer. For once in his life, he didn't speak, he just focused on how soft his lips felt.

He almost didn't want to pull away, but he knew that if he didn't he wouldn't leave at all. He pulled back reluctantly, pressing a kiss to his forehead and just hugging him close for a bit.

He squeezed him a little, feeling nice and protected. Eridan was definitely his shield from everything he didn't want to deal with. "Thanks Eridan. If you ever feel I'm not paying attention to you, tell me. I'm not doing it on purpose." He kissed his jaw, nuzzling it briefly

"I will." He probably won't. Eridan knows that asking for attention every time that he doesn't get it is clingy and annoying and something he's been trying hard not to do for a while. He won't tell Dave unless it's been for longer than a week. Or two. Two seems like it would be a bit extreme for Dave though, so maybe he wouldn't have to do it for two.
