"Yeah, but I need to turn the automatic feeder on. I prefer feeding them myself, you know that." He kissed his forehead, but just contending himself to just lean against Dave happily.

He smiled, nodding. "Yeah, I know. You love your fish. You're a royal fish moma."

They stayed like that until the food came, at which point he just told the person to come in, and paid them while still with Eridan on the couch, giving them a tip for that.

Eridan paid no attention to the delivery boy, just resting his head back against the couch and letting himself relax a little. The smell of food had him smiling and reaching for a box without opening his eyes, finding himself rather hungry.

Dave put a couple of boxes between them, opening them to see which box had what. "I don't know about you, but im hungry as fuck." He said, grabbing a pair of chopsticks and starting to eat

"I'm so hungry I could devour a small farm. And then feel instantly bad because no, that's bad, and sorta gross ew." He reached for the skewers, having the box in his lap so that any satay that dripped off wouldn't go on the couch.

He smiled as he started eating, only whining as the food made his lips burn. "Is lip biting a big thing in black roms? Fuck that."

"It is. Don't worry, you get used to it after a bit. It's just like having dry lips, or a split lip. Soon enough you won't realise it. Perks of bitten lips over split ones though, you can smile and it doesn't hurt."

Eridan grinned, flicking his fins at him and smiling as he turned back to the skewer in his hands. Once he had finished he set it down, putting the box aside and picking up the one with fried rice. He picked up one of the plastic spoons that came with it and tucked in, happy to be having some good food after such a boring class.

Dave ate a bit of everything, not too hungry. The only thing he really wanted was to be with Eridan right now. "How's the food? I made it myself with all of my love and care." He said with a smirk.

"I know, i even made the little boxes myself for presentation purposes. Finally someone appreciates my efforts." He grins, laughing a bit. He ended up not eating a lot, mostly because his lips were just protesting left and right

Eridan ended up eating just the skewers and the fried rice, though he didn't have all of it. Leftovers for dinner, probably. Once he was done eating, he shifted to curl up against Dave, sighing softly and hugging him close.

Dave moved the boxes out of the way so that they could cuddle, and happily wrapped an arm around him. "You know, I've said this a lot, but i love you. A lot. Hope you know how special you make me feel."

"Hush you." Eridan patted at his mouth to get him to shut up, fins flushing a little as he kissed s cheek. "I'm not. I'm only moderately special because I've got fins on my face and because I'm in a relationship with you. You bring out the good in me, and that makes me a little bit better."
