Eridan ended up laughing, darting around the shark with quick movements as he came around a bend of coral and rocketed past Dave to do a loop around Sabriel and back. The shark was close behind, a sleek grey thing in the water with black tipped fins. It didn't even notice Dave.

Dave followed the movement's with his camera, filming the whole thing. He couldn't help but smile slightly at how happy he looked. Eridan really did belong in the water.

Eridan ended up slowing and ducking behind coral to stop the chase, watching the shark slow and twist to come in front of him. He managed to communicate something along the lines of 'feed' and pushed it away. Sharks didn't really have a concept of goodbye, so he had to use something else. It seemed to get i though, as it swam off and out of sight as he headed back to Dave still smiling.

He laughed slightly when he pushed the shark, rolling his eyes. He relaxed as he watched the shark swim away, and took a few pictures of Eridan as he swam back up to him, giving him a thumbs up.

Eridan grinned, settling next to him and pressing a kiss to his forehead. "That was fun. You wanna continue swimming around a bit? I promise, no more sharks."

He nods a couple of times, and shows him the video of him swimming with the shark, leaning against his side.

He wrapped an arm around Dave's waist, watching the video quietly. He pecked his cheek once it was done, standing and holding a hand out to him. "We'll just stay around these corals, not go too far yet."

He took his hand, pulling himself up, and let his camera hang loosely around his neck again. He nods again, and bumps his hip against Eridan playfully before they start swimming again.

He kisses his forehead, tugging him close with a smile before starting to swim again. They went at a comfortably slow pace, with Eridan occasionally pointing things out to Dave.

Dave definitely made use of his camera that day, and must have gotten at least forty pictures in the time they were underwater. After a while though, he just has to come up for air and kisses.

Eridan was pretty happy to come up for kisses, and it was getting later in the day now. He kept Dave up with his hands on his waist, nuzzling his jaw before pressing kisses over his cheeks and lips.

"Did you get some good pictures?" He asked in between kisses. "I wanna look at 'em when we get back to Sabriel."

He hums and nods. "Got plenty of them. Jade is going to die of jealously when we get back." He laughs. "She was already mad jealous at the other pictures I took."

He grinned, looking pretty pleased with that. "My offer still stands for her y'know. If she's comfortable enough socialising with me, and being subjected to you getting kissed and cuddled at any opportunity I can take her out to an island closer to shore with a reef so she can have a look." He was really only extending the offer because he felt like he could be friends with Jade.

"I'm not sure about how she feels about me being spoiled rotten every 5 seconds, but she still wouldn't refuse." He snickered, kissing the tip of his nose. "Maybe we can go and just stay there for a day."

"That's the idea. Just for the day, we'll leave early, come back late. No humans or fish or any sort of marine life will be harmed. Swear it on my honour." He nuzzled his jaw, smiling.

Laughing, he kissed the top of his head, and cupped his cheeks to kiss him properly. "You're the best."

He looked pretty pleased with himself. "I am, aren't I?" His fins wiggled and he held Dave close.

His fins wiggled happily and e moed to be floating on his back, starting to lazy kick towards Sabriel.

Eridan held him closer, more in kissing distance and repeated to do just that as he slowly swam them both back to Sabriel.

He giggled as he was kissed, eyes constantly closed, so that water wouldn't splash into his eyes.

They reached Sabriel soon enough, and Eridan let Dave get up first before he pulled himself up. He grabbed two towels from the locker, handing one to Dave and pulling the other around his shoulders.
