Dave grinned, placing his hands on Eridan's hips as Dave was attacked with kisses. He pecks his lips when he turns back around. "Yeah, your birthday, because I'm not bad enough of a person not to get you something. I mean its just kinda what friends do. And boyfriends. And everybody."

He puffed a breath at him, rolling his eyes. "You don't have to get me anything. Just like. Make me a really nice coffee or get e a free brownie, that'd be nice." He looked at Dave's, smiling a bit as he looked them both over. "These are so well made though. I love it."

"Nah, I'm not cheap like that. Honestly the only times you're assured you'll get a gift for sure is Christmas and your birthday. Plus the really nice coffee and brownie." He smiles, kissing his cheek. "It was a hard bargain, the lady really liked her craftsmanship."

He smiled, picking up his ship and admiring it. "I liked her craftsmanship too." He turned to kiss him, fins still wiggling a bit. "I love it. Where should I put it?" He seemed a lot lot happier than he was when Dave left, even though his mood had sunk more once he'd left his apartment.

"Probably here in the living room. Like right there, in the center of the table." He's happy that Eridan looks joyful right now. "Glad you liked the gift."

"I don't want it accidentally getting knocked or anything." He looked around the living room, before moving next to the tv. There was a spot there on the low table where it could clearly be seen and not knocked over. "I love you."

Dave nods. He'd probably feel a sharp pain in his chest if the boat got accidentally destroyed. It was a nice boat, and Eridan likes it. Plus he bets Eridan would be quite upset as well.

He grins at the other, leaning back on the couch. "Oh you do? Prove it punk, come here and kiss me." He pats his lap.

He grinned, plopping his ass down in his lap with a little wiggle. His knees were pressed against the couch on either side of his hips, and his hands came up to cup his cheeks as he kissed him thoroughly. It was lingering, and practically sweet.

Dave loosely loops his arms around his waist, closing his eyes and kissing him back just as sweetly. "I love you too." Dave mutters between kisses, smiling against Eridan's lips.

He smiled, one hand moving, trailing over his skin and then his hair to thread through his hair at the back of his head. "I missed you. I think I'm getting addicted to you..." He kissed him again, sucking lightly at his bottom lip. "I hope that's not a bad thing."

"That's everything but bad." He grins, pulling him a little closer, and nipping at Eridan's bottom lip.

He liked finally being with Eridan again. He was getting used to it by the end of the week at Washington, but he still missed him.

"Good." He glanced up at him through his lashes, fingers combing through his hair slowly. He went back to presses kisses over his cheeks and alternating between long sweet ones and short pecks to his lips.

He wasn't quite sure what he felt about how he felt towards Dave. He'd tried telling himself not to get too attached, because what if it went wrong? He'd lose him, as a boyfriend and as a friend.

Dave smiled back at him, blindly reaching for a blanket to throw over the both of them. He then rests his hands on Eridan's ass, because its plush and its just right there.

He helped to tuck the blanket more securely around them. His kisses gentled even more, and he ended up eventually with his head resting on his shoulder as he combed a hand through his hair and just hugged him.

He nodded, kissing his neck and smiling. "It's getting pretty close. Remember how you wanted hella kisses. I want fucking hella kisses." He snickered, kissing his jaw. "An' I also want food."

"I always want hella kisses, how could I forget?" Dave ran his fingers along Eridan's hair, and kissed his temple. "But unless you want to order like Thai, I can't help with the food matter. I'd probably even burn cereal somehow."

He relaxed against him, eyes half closed as he sighed in content. "You made me good eggs on toast remember. But I said I'd make you dinner, an' I will. What do you want?" He didn't want to move just yet, because fuck that noise, this was far too comfortable.

"Oh yeah I did. That's called beginner's luck." He smiles wider, nuzzling his hair yet again. "I'm pretty ok with anything. Just some sort of meat and rice would be nice. Or soup. I haven't had good soup in ages."

"I can make stir fry again? Or chicken soup?" He kissed over his jaw, slowly pushing himself up enough to look at him properly. He smiled, kissing his forehead. "I'll need to check what sort of ingredients I actually have, but I can make soup if you want."

Dave got up as well, and stretched his arms above his head. "Can't wait to have homemade food again." He has to try to actually kiss his cheek, since Eridan is tall as hell and Dave is pretty used to slouching, but he manages.

They walk to the kitchen together, and Dave leans against the counter, waiting for something to do, like veggies to cut.
