"We... have?" He looked honestly surprised by that, because wow, time flies. "Huh. Can we have chicken for anniversary dinner?" He grinned at him, leaning over to give him a quick kiss. "And I guess I can dress up for you. I can even put on a dress or wear something more feminine, because you still haven't seen that, have you?" He looked a little awkward, anxious, asking, because he didn't want to be laughed at.

"Hell yes we can." He grins, returning the kiss happily. "Love you. And yeah, I bet you can work it pretty well." Dave was pretty open when it came to that sort of stuff, really. If Eridan could rock it, why not.

"Nice. Do you want me to cook? I found a nice recipe for chicken skewers I've been wanting to try out." He shifted until he was looking properly at Dave, making sure the kitten didn't fall out of his scarf with his movements. "I can work somethings rather well. I'll show you sometime, but not today. Maybe tomorrow, or whenever we're not dealing with people."

"Nah I've got it. You can just sit and look pretty. We can have it for dinner, after all the crap of today's happened." He smiled back at him, fins wiggling slightly. "Yeah, I know. So does that mean I have to deal with Sol alone?" He wouldn't mind, it'd probably be better wothout Dave there, because he still wasn't sure if those two were black.

Dave reached out to comb his fingers through Eridan's hair, and he kissed his forehead. He's so adorable. "How do you know that? God damn can you read minds?" He rose a brow, still playing with his hair. "I mean, yeah? If you want me to stay though I can cancel the plans."

He shrugged, deciding to play it up a little. "Just tell Jade that I'll be at the aquarium from about one o'clock onwards if she still wants to drop by. Can you give her the address for it?"

He looks confused, but ta second later he's grinning. "Did you make plans with Harley? Ain't she popular these days." He was really happy that Eridan managed to talk to someone in his circle of friends, let along hang out with them. "Still, its ok, I just don't want you uncomfortable."

"Nah, she was just curious about the aquarium. I offered to show her the place, and she asked when it's open to the public. It's not, but I offered to give her a tour anyway." He rolled his eyes at him, snickering a little. "I'll be fine. I've dealt with him before, and it's just to talk."

He nods, reaching out to hold one kf his hands. He was really feeling the whole cuddling thing today, especially because Sollux was coming over and he wants as much attention as he can hoard. "Cool, hope y'all have fun, because I'm going to have to leave in like, 5 minutes. We're planning on recording some tracks that I can mix."

Eridan stood when he did, keeping the kitten cradled against him and rearranging his scarf until he was sure she wouldn't fall out. He kissed Dave's temple, and followed him to the door. "I'll probably be at the aquarium by the time you're done, so you can just meet me there, and we can show Jade around. I'm gonna be taking Eona with me, so you can look after her if you don't want to walk around."

In the time it took for Sollux to rock up, Eridan had checked and double checked that he looked presentable and not relaxed like he had with Dave. The kitten was still asleep in his scarf though, when he opened the door. He looked at him for a few seconds, before stepping aside to let him in, musing quietly. "I think this is the first time you've ever knocked to entire my place."

"Hello to you too shitface." He raises a hand in greeting, but his tough façade is very quickly broken when he sees the kitten, and just smiles, features softening as he walks in. "Heh, she's pretty cute. Dave was right."

She simply mewls softly at him, and tucks herself up in his scarf, peeking up at Sollux. Eridan glanced down at her, a small smile on his face as well. "Yeah, she is." He gestured for him to enter, shutting the door behind him and heading for the kitchen. He was gonna need a lot of tea for this.

His expression neutered a second later and he tapped his finger against the counter. "... are you serious with wanting to get in with what Dave and I have?"
