Eridan ended up making himself french toast instead of waffles, because less effort was needed. He had to smile at the kitten chasing the ball around, and scoops her up to bring her to the couch once his breakfast was done.

Eridan rolled his eyes at that as well, and really, he keeps rolling his eyes and they're gonna fall out and make him blind. "She's the cutest pettable pet ever."

"Dave." He sounded exasperated, and picked the kitten up, frowning at him. "That goes for you feeding her stuff too. Stop it. It's probably not good for her, plus I don't think cats can have chocolate."

"You're letting her drink from your mug." He pouted at him, using the bottom of his shirt to gently wipe her whiskers. What a pair of dorks.

He smiles a little, sipping his hot chocolate. He doesn't mind that Eona drank from it. She took the chance to climb back into his scarf, tired of exploring and ready for a nap.

She curled up on herself, the only thing visible being her ears and tail. She eventually started purring, and she probably fell asleep somewhere along the way. Lazy cats. Dave wishes he was one sometimes.

Eridan pressed a little kiss to the cats head, smiling fondly at her. She really was adorable, and watching her, he felt like going to sleep as well. Purely for the fact that he can curl up in blankets and be warm.
