"You must have imagined things." He kept his face hidden, because he's pretty sure that even dreaming about marriage after a year or so in a relationship is considered creepy. "No marriages in my dreams, no sir."

"It wasn't ironic enough for you though, so I think your safe." He grinned, pulling Dave closer and nuzzling his hair briefly. "It was cute though. You kept fussing at whoever you were talking to in your dream."

He hummed softly, running his fingers through his hair. "You did say "dadbert has to make the cake" though, so maybe that has anything to do with it?"

He looked up just a bit, still hesitant. "Big, all white with lame figurines of us at the top. You were complaining about who made them not getting your hair right."

His fins wiggled, and he smiled gently. "Ironic enough for you?" He combed his fingers through Dave's hair, glancing at the boat's instruments to make sure they were on track. "Why would you marry me?" He sounded curious.

"Definitely ironic enough." He had to smile softly, and rested his head against Eridan's chest again.

He shrugs. "I don't really know. I mean, I do, I love you so much that it should be illegal, and I wouldn't be opposed to it, eventually, you know, down the road, but i myself never wanted to get married, so."

He smiles, nodding and kissing him right after. "You'd look great in a long white dress. And honestly, you're loaded, so buying the dress that you want wouldnt be hard, and every dress-wearer would be jealous of it. But you gotta show me the tux too." Even though the vest was amazing

Eridan returned the favour with occasional kisses to his hair. Every so often, one of the instruments would beep, and he would look over at them to read the dials and numbers. Eventually he took it off autopilot, keeping Dave close while he guided the wheel with one hand.
