He just nodded, cuddling Dave close and curling around him a little. "I'm very glad. It means a lot to me, but I think you know that already."

Eridan chirred at him softly, nuzzling his hair almost reverently. He was on the edge of purring in gratitude, holding Dave close and pressing a kiss to his forehead.

Eridan was content to just cuddle and purr and hold Dave as close as he could as the waves outside gently rocked the boat.

Dave couldn't help but feel loved and cared about. It was a rare feeling, growing up, and now he was like a sponge, soaking up any bit of attention he managed to put his hands on. He hugged Eridan again, and let his eyes close

Eridan was near clinging, he just loved being able to hold someone close and cuddle with them like this. It was a good feeling, being able to dish out all this love that'd he always wanted to have to give.

He was content with just staying in that position with him for the longest time, and only moved when he wanted to try something. "Hold still." He muttered, not wanting to disrupt the calm mood, and moved to be straddling Eridan. He cupped his cheek, and started kissing the other one, wanting to give him a load of attention. "You're not allowed to move." He said in a teasing tone.

"What are you doin'?" He sounded relaxed, letting Dave move him as he liked and giving a lazy smile up at him once he was straddling him. Despite not being allowed to move, his hands came up to trace over the skin of Dave's chest. His own was still vibrating a little with a purr.

He didn't mind that type of touch, he meant something else. "I'm spoiling you rotten, and you're not allowed to do any of the spoiling until I'm done." He traced kisses over both of his cheeks, placing a peck on his lips, and then trailing the kisses along his jaw

"Wait so no spoiling back?" He blinked lazily, palms smoothing up his chest and over his shoulders and down his arms a little and back again.

He tilted his head back with a sigh, closing his eyes in content.

"Absolutely zero spoiling back for now." He nipped at Eridan's skin gently, kissing it from time to time, and traced one of his nails along his neck.

His skin twitched and he shifted a little, sighing even as his fins twitched and flared. "You sure?" He was probably too relaxed now to do much now though, even letting his hands fall from Dave's chest to just revel in the attention.

"You have no idea of how sure I am." It was a real treat watching him like this either way. Good enough for him.

Dave runs his warm hands along Eridan's chest, warming it up, and moved to kiss along his shoulders and neck now.

Eridan's purring seemed to ramp up a notch, and he stretched a little in delight under his hands.

His skin was still a bit cooler from his swim, despite it having been at least a forty five minutes ago, and Dave's hands felt ever so good.
