His purr would definitely be felt through any touches to his chest, it was only just audible in the quiet of the cabin, rusty and rough like a cats. His fingers flexed a little, before he squeezed at his hand again.

Dave treated Eridan like absolute royalty, kissing all over his chest and hands, and then his stomach.

He came back up to kiss him properly, rewarding him for the patience, and rubbed his shoulders to get him to fully relax

His purr was definitely louder, and stronger by the time Dave was coming back up to kiss him. And with the added touch to his shoulders, Eridan let himself completely relax for what felt like the first time in a decade. Maybe longer. He seemed to go lax, head tipped back and each limb limp. It also hurt, like a dull ache as everything relaxed.

Eridan chirped again, raising one hand a little sluggishly to settle on Dave's hair. "Feels s'good." He was slurring a little, smiling and parting his lips to suck on Dave's in the kiss. When it broke his mouth was still slightly open and his lips darkened from being nipped and kissed.

"You do. You are." He turned his head a little to kiss his cheek, tightening his grip a little in his hair to turn his head so they could kiss properly. Eridan parted his lips, tracing the seam of his lips with his tongue and a low noise.

He had both hands up now, reaching to hand loosely around his neck as he pulled him closer. He didn't do much more than that, purring pleasantly into the kiss. He broke it to murmur an 'I know. I love you too. Always' before kissing him again and giving back control.

Well he was well and truly at ease now, sprawled out and utterly relaxed under him. Dave's experiment was a probable success, depending what he was trying to do.
