"The only balloon I'll ever want." He grinned, but was a bit annoyed at not being able to kiss him right now. He settled for pulling Dave close and kicking to lie on the ocean floor and look up at the waves above, holding Dave's hand with a smile.

Dave snuggled up to Eridan, eyes closing. The feeling of being underwater was just so relaxing.

Eridan hummed softly, the sound oddly clear even underwater. He watched the waves roll above them, fingers trailing lightly along Dave's skin, even with the slightly resistant nature of the water

He wraps an arm around Eridan's middle,and smiles. "Kinda jealous of your gills right now."

He hummed in agreement. "Yeah. The mask has its drawbacks." He has to lean down so he can nuzzle at his neck a little.

"Mermaid's would've gotten boring fast. No differences really." He shifted so that he was closer to kiss at Dave's neck and shoulders.

He let himself be kissed, humming in delight. "But I can't kiss you underwater."

He shrugged, "yeah, but a mermaid wouldn't be able to kiss me on land without it being awkward." He nuzzled at his shoulder, huffing a few bubbles along his neck.

"That's also kinda true. But you already love the ocean, so I don't think that would be a problem." He shivers, and squirms away from the bubbles

"I love the ocean for its piece and tranquility and pure power. If I was dating a mermaid, it wouldn't be something special to share with someone, because they would already know it." He kissed his neck, shifting a bit until he was just resting his head on his shoulder.

He hummed a bit as he thought about that, and ended up realizing it was true. "Should I feel like a special balloon? Because I do."

Eridan kissed his palm again, a soft pressure because of the water around them as he cuddled closer.

After a bit though he sighed. "We should continue swimming if you want photos. This is nice though."

"Hold on." Dave started floating again, though he kicked hard to remain mostly down, and snapped a few pictures of Eridan with a smile.

He let him take his photos, even if he ended up rolling his eyes at the last ones. "You could be taking photos of how calm it is right now, and how the waves left patterns on the sea floor, but no, I'm your model yet again."

Eridan rolled his eyes again, but sat up to catch Dave by his hips and tug him back down again. "These would make some of the most relaxing photos to look at. It's so calm. If you sold these, you'd probably make a heap of money just on your photography work alone."

He smiles when he's grabbed, and moves to be sitting on his lap. "But you're my priority here." He simply says, though he takes a few pictures of the view now.
