"Yes yes food's there. I was just about to cook it. Nothing fancy, just cooking it."

"Fooood." He tugs him towards the kitchenette, and looks over at the fish. "Nice."

"Is it to your standard sir?" He grinned, pecking his cheek and moving to get a pan and turn the gas on.

"Hmm. I think it will do just fine." He smiles, kissing his shoulder before just standing there to look. "You didn't take long."

"I swim fast remember. I also followed the warm currents with the most plankton on it, and found a school quick enough."

"So you did magic. Sounds good." He wraps his arms around his waist ,and kisses along his shoulders.

"You're a dork, and acting sleepy. Are you tired?" He turned his head to kiss his forehead before turning back to the fish.

He hums a bit. "I've been chilling in the pile since you were gone, so a little." Dave nuzzled the back of his neck, placing a gentle kiss there.

"Adorable. Is it comfy?" He flipped the fish, the side now facing them pretty much cooked.

"The comfiest." He sounds really proj of himself.

"Nice." He'll probably go lie in it after lunch. For now he just makes sure the fish is cooked properly.

He hums as he covers his back in kisses, and he rubs his belly while he's at it.

Eridan bats his hands away a few times, rolling his eyes and eventually turning the as off so he could turn around and cover Dave's face in kisses instead.

Dave grins merrily when he starts getting kisses instead, and wraps his arms around him to squeeze Eridan into a hug

"You're such a dork." He grinned back, kissing all over his face and purposely avoiding his lips as he leans into the hug.

Eridan nudges him regretfully out of the way a few minutes later, and turns to finish the fish off before getting plates and knives and forks and setting it on the table next to the couch.

Dave just stands to the side, hands on Eridan's hips as he watches, and helps him out everything on plates. "I hope the chef knew what he was doing." He teases

"The chef's cooked more fish'n you have, so the eater shouldn't be complaining." He pecks his lips and smiles, sitting down and letting Dave cut what he wanted from the fish. He'd de-boned it while he was scaling it.

He hummed in delight when he figured it had little to no bones, and stuffed some inside some bread, along with lettuce, taking a big bite

Eridan rolled his eyes at him, leaning against him a little as he pulled the rest of the fish towards him and started picking bite off it to eat.

He snuggled up to Eridan, making noises of content. "You're the official cook in this relationship."

"Of course I am. Your ideal meal is fast food." He took a moment to nuzzle the top of his head, grinning before turning back to his fish.
