He just waved a hand at him, standing to go closer to the barrier of the otter exhibit and have a closer look. "He was with John then. He an' Kanaya just want to talk. Don't worry about it."

It was hard not to worry when all of Eridan's acquaintances seemed to dislike him, his own friends included. "Youre not in trouble, are you?" He asked in a smaller voice, feeling like him standing up is cheap since he can't do that without hurting.

He hesitated for a second, but shook his head. He took out his phone to take a photo just for something to do. "Don't worry about it Dave, honestly. An' even if I am in trouble, what's new?" He tried to joke, turning to grin at him.

He frowned at him when he turned back. "Whats new is that I will throw a sword into lithpy athhole if you get in trouble for his fuck ups. I'm not even kidding. I will plunge a sword from a magical pile of smupets, do a little transformation dance and fight in the name of justice with a little red skirt and high heels to match."

He huffed a laugh, shaking his head at him. "As much as I'd like to see you kicking ass in high heels an' a skirt Dave, don't bother. It's not worth getting his shitty ass peasant blood on your shit." He moved back to sit in front of him, looking up at him. "They just want to talk. Probably about Sollux, probably about you, mostly about me being a shit, the usual. If I were in any more trouble over Sollux, Feferi would'a visited me by now. An' all I got from her was a very formal sounding email asking what exactly happened. It was weird. I think Aradia pitched in a bit an' saved my ass a bit."

He nods, relaxing a little. As long as Eridan wasnt in trouble. Or else he might really pull his stitches to do something stupid. "Is he in trouble? I want him to be in trouble so bad."

He just patted his knee, standing up and stretching before looking at the otters again. "Chill Dave, it's fine." The otters were looking up at him, making little chirpy sounds and he smiled slightly. "How're you feeling?"

Dave shrinks a little in his seat, looking away, as he has the advantage of his shades hiding his eyes. "No I don't, but that's not the point. I live with him. You dont live with them and could easily get away from the problem."

"I moved to get away from the problem. Do you know that Sollux doesn't even live in town? He lives nearly half a state away. Still does unless he's moved in the last 72 hours." He said conversationally. He glanced at him, expression softening as he just sighed and dropped his head onto his arms. "I know what I did wrong. I acknowledged what I did wrong. I fucking apologised, I changed everything that made them annoyed. But, my lineage has a reputation for being vicious bastards, even without being murderous. So they're just waiting for me to fuck up again."

He shifts a little, glancing back at him. He didn't think of that, really. "Move to the small island with me then, that should solve my problems and yours. No more student loans for me. Or college at all." He mused. "Unless either of them sail, its gonna e harder for them.
