Eridan hauled himself up from the couch, leaving his phone there and stumbling a bit as he went to look for his laptop. He thought he'd left it in the lounge, but it obviously wasn't there.

He found it a few minutes later, half buried under piles of papers he didn't remember putting there.

Eridan opened the file after he went and grabbed his earphones, plugging them in and clicking play.

He listened to them all, twice, before replying again.

As he waited for him to reply, he got bored, so he started playing pokemon Emerald on his computer. Nothing better than being able to play one of the most entertaining games out there in a larger screen. He had raised a couple of levels to his team when he heard the 'ping!', that could only be Eridan, so he minimized it to reply, a wide smile forming on his face.

He read the critic, mostly taking it in a stride. At this point he wanted to better himself, not just say he was great and that's it, though boasting was always something he enjoyed doing, so he actually appreciated it.

TG: youd be surprised with what goes past you when youve spent more than 8 hours in front of your turntables and are now trying to figure out if you want to add the variation of the build up to the bass dropping that is 8 seconds long or the one that is 10 seconds long

Dave really liked having the bass blasting in his ears for a couple of seconds per song, it was really just soothing as hell, and sort of intervened in the mess that was the song to clear out his thoughts. When the bass started getting more and more intense before a drop though, through an extensive period of time, that's what he lived for.

TG: that can be a thing

TG: still it wouldnt take much to just fix that so that you like it better

Dave took a bit longer than a few minutes, and by then Eridan was lying with hus eyes closed and tapping randomly against the side of his laptop.

When the ping of a message finally came, he'd lulled himself into a state of sleep.

He groaned as he accepted the file, rubbing his eyes and pushing himself to sit up and listen.
