...well, everyone was suddenly unconscious. I dragged the neighbor over to the edge of the sidewalk, propping them up against the building, then did the same with Terezi, though much more gently and with a lot more carrying than dragging. I didn't bother with the asshole the person I could only assume was Calypso had thrown against the wall. Then someone came out of the alley -- oh, shit no. No, no, no, /no/.

Fuck, everything was blurry. I stumbled into the streetlights and was immediately blinded by a FUCKING WHITE TURTLENECK GODDAMMIT COULD THIS DAY GET ANY WORSE.

Was this worse or better than him being with the creepy neighbor? Either way, he was causing harm wherever he went already, and so I needed to put him on a tight leash as soon as possible. Ren woke up and squinted in the dark evening, trying to make out what was going on. When they saw the orange hair, they got up, wincing a little at the pain in their side, went up behind him, and brought their fist down on top of his head.

I was tempted to applaud. But even if we hadn't been on an empty street in the middle of the night, I would have seemed crazy.
