Dave tucked his head under Eridan's jaw, and pressed kisses to the underside of his chin.

"Me neither, but it will be nice." He reached for the hand around his waist, putting his own over it.

Eridan smiled at the way Dave was cuddled up to him, closing his eyes in content and pressing a kiss to his hair.

He moved his grip enough that he could catch a few of Dave's fingers in his, squeezing lightly and linking them together enough. He pressed a few more kisses to his hair, smiling with each and cuddling him close.

He held him just as close, "You're welcome. And I can tell. I mean it Dave. Door's always open for you." He tilted his face up enough just so he could kiss him, slow and sweet before letting him curl back up against him.

Dave's smile was small now, soft and gentle, but he wasn't any less happy, if only a bit sentimental. He returned the kiss, cupping one of his cheeks while he did. "You're wonderful."

He smiled back at him, gentle and caring and it felt weird on his face, but he meant every bit of it. "You give me a reason to be wonderful." He kissed him again, squeezing his fingers again. "You mean a lot to me, more than you probably think."

It's been a while since Dave felt so small and yet protected, but now he did, but he definitely didn't remember how nice it felt. Seeing Eridan smile like that only made him a little warmer inside. "You mean a lot to me too." He widens his smile, wrapping his arms around Eridan's neck, and pulling him into another kiss.

He tilted his head into the kiss a little, licking at his lips and sitting up so that he could slide a hand up his back and rest between his shoulder blades. He pulled out of the kiss only to kiss his forehead before going back for another, gentle and carefully leading as he squeezed his fingers.

He was positive that he radiated happiness right now. Dave let him lead, squeezing his fingers back, and holding his hand a little better. Once he pulled out of the second kiss though, he took it upon himself to kiss every inch of Eridan's face.

He smiled at the barrage of kisses Dave put upon him, fins wiggling wildly now as his face scrunched up in delight. He looked so relaxed, smiling and loose and almost... carefree.

He laughed softly at the kisses, nuzzling at his jaw and proceeding to press many kisses anywhere he wanted to.

Dave grinned once the kisses were returned, giggling a little, his natural composure just slipping right between his fingers. He really didn't have a single care in the world right now. "I want a piggy back ride to the car. Think you can do that, so that we can cuddle at home?" He says teasingly, smooching his forehead.

He nuzzled his jaw, pressing a kiss to the crook of his neck next before leaning back enough. "You're gonna have to get off me so I can throw the boxes in the trash and give you a piggy back though."

Dave was a bundle of smiles and giggles now, grinning at all the affection. "Alright, it's worth the price." He concludes, pecking his lips before he got up, and handed Eridan his box. "It's getting kinda chilly here anyway."

"Mhm. Better to get where it's warm and comfortable." He grinned, standing up and taking the box. He headed to the bins, putting the rubbish away before heading back to Dave. He grinned at him, turning and kneeling in the sand with his back offered towards him. "You steed awaits Mr Knight."

"Aw yeah, let's do this, I'm ready to not fit in doors." Dave grins, wrapping his arms around his neck, before getting in position to get lifted. "Surprise me. Show me the wonders of being tall." He rested his chin on Eridan's shoulder, and kissed it softly.

He laughed, hooking his arms around Dave's knees and jumping a little once he was standing up right to get him properly situated on his back. He grinned at him. "Warning to all passengers, horns are sharp, watch out for low hanging branches and doorframes and please, no pulling on the fins when wanting to turn left or right. That will only get you dropped on your ass." He was careful with his horns, starting to walk back to the car.

Dave snickered, fairly amused, and looked around, appreciating his new height. "Holy shit, you're really big." Thanks captain obvious. What are you going to say next? Take his glasses and say 'wow, you're really blind!' ?.

Resting his chin on top of his head now, he let his arms hang loosely around his neck, his fingers lacing at the end to keep his arms from flopping around.

He rolled his eyes, jostling Dave slightly with a grin. "I'm proud to inform all passengers that today we have Captain Obvious with us. If anyone will care to point out to Captain Obvious that his obvious is unneeded and therefore unwanted, that'd be great." He snickered, purposefully walking underneath one of the trees by the side walk so Dave would have to duck.
