He smiled, pressing a kiss to his jaw and looking back at the shells. "They'll have to stay in the box until I get the shelves sorted, but it'd be nice to have them on display."

"Speaking about the box, we should probably pack them back in huh?" He turns in his chair to wrap both of his arms around him and nuzzle his neck briefly. "And I really want to change into pjs."

He laughed softly, tilting his neck slightly for him. He got up and gave him a little nudge. "You go get changed an' I'll pack these back up. You can' have a shower if you want."

"Seriously? You don't mind? Like I could stick around and do it." He says as he stands, pushing the chair back in place.

"And yeah, I'll take the shower."

"I can do it." He gave him another little shove, smiling slightly. "Go shower. I can do it." He turned back to the shells, moving the box closer to him so he could carefully start putting the shells back in one by one.

"Alright, thanks." He said as he kissed his cheek. Dave starts walking to the bathroom. "I won't take long in the shower." He adds, before closing the door to take said shower.

He nodded at him, already focused on putting the shells in.

He was almost done when Dave was finished with his shower, just putting the final shells in. He'd contemplated on putting one of the scales back in, just so that he had something to remember by. He ended up putting one in, slipping it down the side of the box so it couldn't really be seen and putting the lid back on as he looked at the other scale.

Dave dried his hair with the towel, going to Eridan's bedroom to look for his pjs.

Only then did he remember he didn't bring any on purpose.

"Eridan," He called out as he gets his boxers on "I'll need to borrow the sweats again."

He looked up as he called out, leaning back a bit on his chair to see if he could see him as he called back. "They're either on the chair in my room or in the bottom drawer." He picked up the box, adjusting his hold on it briefly before he headed to his room.

"Thanks." He said, grabbing the ones on the chair, and sliding them on as Eridan walked in, the door having never been closed.

He wondered if he got mad for not knowing Dave wouldn't go to work to spend more time with him tomorrow. "Better get the pain killers on your bedside table so that you can take them right away tomorrow." He advised.

He nodded, placing the box up on the top shelf of the closet again before closing the door. "I'm just gonna take a shower." He didn't really want to, because that meant changing bandages again and he knew it was going to be moderately painful at first. Thankfully the pressure of his shower was a soft one, so the only pain would be from the wounds getting wet.

"Alright, I'll be splayed out on the bed with a bunch of rose petals when you come back, maybe a single blood-red rose in my mouth. It usually happens when people leave me alone for long periods of time." He snickers, plopping down on the comfortable bed.

He rolled his eyes, gathering up the sweats he wore last time and sticking his tongue out at Dave as he headed past. "You'd have to clean it all up again after I'd finished laughing at you." He grinned and headed for the shower.

It was painful, the water on his burns and cuts and he had to bite down on his lip hard to stop himself from making a noise when he first stepped into the spray.

"You'd laugh at my honest seduction tactics? What a heartless prick." He smirks as he watches Eridan go.

He then proceeds to study his room a little better, starting on the fish tank, and finishing on the half open closet that he was curious to look at. However he did not.

"If your seduction is rose petals scattered all over my room then I'd laugh. I'll probably be seduced but I'd still laugh."

He took longer than Dave did in the shower, because he was careful over his wounds and by the time he came out his hands were shaking again from the pain of it. He patched himself up carefully, grabbing the box of painkillers and bringing it with him as he headed back to his room.

He glances at the door once he hears steps again, pressing his lips together once he saw his hands shake. "Hey, are you alright..?"

Dave tugged back the bed sheets to let him in.

"I'm fine." He closed his hands into fists to stop the shaking, not looking at him as he hung his vest and shirt over the back of his chair. He wasn't going to leave them crumpled up in the bathroom, he'll just deal with them later.

He crawled into bed carefully, suppressing a wince when he jostled a wound.

Dave sighed a little, laying on his side, and letting him do whatever he pleased, after he covered him carefully.

"Want me to scoot over?" They were in the middle, but Eridan might not wan to be touched.

He shook his head, taking his glasses off and setting them to the side as he gingerly moved closer to Dave. He ended up with their heads close together on the pillow, before he moved enough that he was curled up against his chest.

Dave gently draped an arm around his middle, holding him there, and kissed him between his eyes. "Wake me up if you need anything, alright?"

He nodded again, closing his eyes and letting out a soft sigh. "Love you." He kissed his neck, seeing as didn't want to move his head now that he'd found this comfortable position.

"I love you too." He mutters in a gentle voice, smiling a little at the kiss to his neck. "Sleep well."

He smiled at him, managing to tuck himself closer and sighed again. He relaxed more and more as he drifted off into sleep, until he was slumped against Dave. Dave really did make it easier for him to sleep, it was almost unnatural.

He soon fell asleep as well, breathing softy against his curly hair. He liked seeing him with his hair unstyled, he looked nice.

He Did curl up around him this time, but it was mostly by tangling their legs, as they were already quite close.
